It certainly was, but man, what a fun game to be at. So much offense with the teams going back and fourth all game. Hell of a game for my sons (7) first Leafs game. One neither of us will soon forget. Just need a f***ing save in the shootout unfortunately.

Yeah I think that would be ideal given the options at the bottom of the standings. Original 6 team that is really starting to accumulate some talent. If they trade Toews and Kane for haul this season, the rebuild could happen pretty quickly with Bedard in the fold.

I would've agreed had the whole thing with Kyle Beach not happened and the subsequent sweeping under the rug of that sexual predator...allowing him to assault others in the future.
