He's the first Leafs goalie to go winless in his first 6 games of a season since it happened a couple of years ago. Is Richard Griffin working hockey now?

I can't say if he was or wasn't, "you people" sounds ominous no doubt, but to put an 85 year old man at a stake for asking Canadians to donate a couple bucks to veterans and put a poppy on out of respect, that's BS, yes I believe he's accurate. I've always felt veterans are overlooked in society.

Sounded like he was obviously talking about immigrants regardless of race who don't embrace Canada's history.

 

I didn't really think there was anything really fundamentally wrong with what he said, I'm just not sure why he expects immigrants to care or be as ingrained as native Canadians.

Immigrants, a substantial portion coming from colonial or allied forces in WW2, probably DO care a lot more than many Canadians. Do people not realize India's contribution or that Mussolini was busy being cucked out on the Northern African front?

 

It's hard to know what went on inside Cherry's head when he was spouting it, but I feel it was more a rant against Toronto (urban) liberals. And yeah, a lot of that may be in the form of whitewashed non-white second or third generation immigrants who care about veterans as much as the typical whiny white millennial.

Isn't it a tad hypocritical for someone of English/Irish decent to criticize how immigrant's aren't embracing the history and traditions from 'natives'? Is it possible for immigrants to be more destructive than the English/French/Irish were when they immigrated to North America?

Yeah that's not going to accomplish anything but it would be nice to see his face less often. He looks like a caveman, which I guess should be normal for hockey guys.

The shift was amazing, poor Bishop he stood on his head prior to the goal, these guys are fun to watch.
