Sens always put out their best efforts when undermanned. I've been in Vegas the past two years on opening week and noticed the high amount of high scoring games. Made me some solid money last year and last night the Oilers and Flames (who averaged like 8 goals in their games last year) cost me a good parlay win (I got the break even parlay win instead). The Sens and Washington are the one I'm undecided to include tonight.

That's a solid move. They moved a non-roster contract in exchange for another so it doesn't have an impact on the contract limits, and in the process get to keep Pickard in the mionrs until that depth is required.

I think Vegas (the place where you make bet, not the team) is not adjusting to the higher goal counts. A lot more slashing calls are being made. If this trend is permanent (and we have seen this before where penalties get called for the first few weeks then revert back), pound the overs on total goals scored.

 

It's about the time of year when betting CFB and NFL is no longer that lucrative so time to focus on NHL. I have the over 6.5 and over Leafs TT 3.5 tonight. This is the first time I've seen a 6.5 total in a while, but most are still at 5 or 5.5. So go Leafs go, but not Andersen. Need him to give up a few. Leafs are allowed to win, 4-3 or higher

The Flames just ended their ghastly losing streak in Anaheim with a 2-0 win. Mike Smith was unreal.
