Home Opener was on Wednesday.

now that just shows how hard it is for me to get fired up about the leafs. lol

that was an enormously entertaining game (OTTvTOR). Both teams played hard and 3 on 3 was entertaining as hell. If the leafs can keep up this effort every night they may surprise a few teams.

Missed that game but the Calgary/Canucks overtime was awesome. Love this rule, 3 on 3 is awesome and super fun!

I hope not.

I just put a spoiler on my tank and I'll be driving it around the city all season long.

Ah yes, NHL season is back, which signifies the return of jaysblue's unhealthy anti-Leaf obsession

Alex Ovechkin missed Tuesday's practice because his alarm wasn't set correctly.

Advice: Ovechkin had set it for p.m. instead of a.m. The Capitals decided to scratch him from the subsequent game as a result. The good news is that now that based on why he missed Tuesday's contest, it's fair to assume he'll be back in the lineup on Thursday. Ovechkin was at Wednesday's practice, but in the future he might be better off with a 24-hour clock.

Washington lost 5-0. Seems like a dumn decision to me.

Blue Jackets have fired Todd Richards, replacing him with John Tortorella. That'll be fun!

The Nucks received a 2nd round pick for Torts, nice.
