G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 They weren't desperate for buzz in Seattle or anything, were they? Naaawwww
bzapple Verified Member Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 That's not a very good picture of Cano. Makes him look kind of fat.
jays_fever Old-Timey Member Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 haha Cano looks like he's filing super size me part 2
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Looks like Cano wants to make up for lost time with the facial hair too now that he's out of NY.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Have the Tigers gotten better this off season? I don't think so. Better defensively maybe, but they're worse overall. What would happen to them if Cabrera had a fluke off year or missed half a season due to injury??
NorthOf49 Old-Timey Member Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Nobody picked this in the FAP Contest.
jaysblue Old-Timey Member Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Nobody picked this in the FAP Contest. Was he even a choice in the contest lol?
Dr. Dinger Old-Timey Member Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Is it me, or does Cano look fat?
Chappy Community Moderator Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Reds apparently very interested in Infante. Would need to move Phillips first, but perhaps something is brewing on that front?
Chappy Community Moderator Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2013/12/reds-interested-in-omar-infante.html
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Is it me, or does Cano look fat? Totally does And he can be now 240 million bucks guaranteed I can eat whatever the f*** I want bitches you can't stop me I can still hit dat ball and I get paid even if I can't so whatever and if you expect me to run out ground balls now you're a bigger idiot than I thought because I can't get there before the ball cause I'm slower now that I'm nearing Ortiz size and I'm gonna get booed for it but guess what 240 million dollars helps me live with that allright so back off
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2013/12/reds-interested-in-omar-infante.html Reds might sign him and trade Phillips? Hm
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Prob the yanks Yeah they want Phillips they just don't want to give up Gardner for him aparently
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Is it me, or does Cano look fat? Cano has less body fat than Moyou brain. We called to Cano "Roca" or "The Rock"
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Cano has less body fat than Moyou brain. We called to Cano "Roca" or "The Rock" When's the last time to you saw him in person? Since the season ended? Quite possible he's put on 10 pounds since September.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 When's the last time to you saw him in person? Since the season ended? Quite possible he's put on 10 pounds since September. Last sunday, celebrating his new contract.
bzapple Verified Member Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Okay so this is ridiculous: http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2013/12/rockies-close-to-signing-boone-logan.html The Rockies are close to signing left-hander Boone Logan to a multiyear contract, Troy Renck of the Denver Post reports. Renck guesses that Logan will be in line for a three-year contract worth around $15MM, a deal similar to what Joe Smith received from the Angels earlier this offseason. Is it really necessary to guarantee three years to a LOOGY? Boone Logans practically grow on trees, Rockies.

Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Jacoby Ellsbury takes out a big ad in the Boston Globe to thank the fans http://ow.ly/i/40J35/original Bah, Roy Halladay did this before it was cool.

Would have been a nice buy low. Yeah, but it makes sense he would want to stay with the team he's been successful with, so it's hard to get too upset about this.
KingKat Old-Timey Member Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Yeah, but it makes sense he would want to stay with the team he's been successful with, so it's hard to get too upset about this. Boooooo. The Diamondback don't deserve Hudson.
The Cats Ass Old-Timey Member Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 Yeah, but it makes sense he would want to stay with the team he's been successful with, so it's hard to get too upset about this. Makes sense. He gets to stay in the NL too. He hit pretty good in his last full season too. He had a better slash line in 2011 then Bonifacio, JPA, and Izturis did this year...
Brenner Verified Member Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 What are peoples thoughts on Dan Uggla? I know he sucks, but might be worth giving a shot too if we don't bring in anyone else at 2b. Something like Romero + PTBNL (Low Tier Prospect) for Uggla + Cash ($4.4mil) Romero is owed $15 mil + $600k buyout over the next 2 years. Uggla is owed $26 mil Jays get Dan Uggla at $3 mil/year for 2 years Braves save $6 mil and get a low prospect hmm looking at it now maybe we don't even have to toss in the prospect, saving the $6 mil should be enough for the Braves and they take a chance at fixing Romero. This is an all else fails alternative only, pushing Goins to AAA.
