digiblader Verified Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Looks like it--looks like he'll be 5-0, providing the bullpen doesn't blow it. Good news for our Jays.
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Matt Kemp...almost naked but all class (sorry if this was posted already I just saw it today). Even best is that he had no clue it was being filmed
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Wil Myers left the Durham game in the 2nd... but it's just an upset stomach

TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 wow, the umpires in the Astros game just let the Astros change their pitcher without him facing a batter...this is probably the worst thing an ump has done this week in a week of f*** ups.

Arkadium Verified Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Snider's not looking so hot w/ PP anymore... ..725 OPS vs. pretty much only righties. As of now I'm not sure who got the tail-end of the deal...

GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 Classy move Matt Kemp. You mean giving that kid the equipment? Enjoyed that, really nice thing to do.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 I like that team too: @JonHeymanCBS: not only do #STLCards have best record (21-12) but they're baseball best 14-7 on road. yes, played 9 more games on road
digiblader Verified Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Well deserved. Now if only they could get a regular SS and get Oscar Taveras in their OF(he's having a good year in AAA BTW) instead of Jon Jay, this team would be even better. Not going after Pujols after the 2011 offseason is looking smarter and smarter. Meanwhile the Angels, with Pujols and Hamilton, are 12-22, with no relief in sight.
Captain Adama Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Wow raysjays praising another team? The end of days is near!
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Travis Snider @ the Fan Cave: @Lunchboxhero45: Absolute Blast at the @MLBFanCave shooting the "Top MLB Fan Cave Take Out".. Thanks for the hospitality and great eats! Video out next week!
digiblader Verified Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Yankees finally doing something right--converting Dellin Betances into a reliever. Long overdue--he's not cut out to be a starter, plus if his control improves, he could be a future closer for the Yankees, who need one after Mariano Rivera retires. A needed move too--he's out of options after this season, and the Yankees need to figure if he fits in the bullpen, or he'll be DFAed.
G-Snarls Community Moderator Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 I'd love to see the Cardinals beats the Nationals in the playoffs this year
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 Remember when the "Killer Bs" Brackman, Betances and Banuelos were going to rule the division for the next decade? Makes you feel a bit better about the guys who haven't worked out for the Jays. Hahahaha, I remember Andrew Brackman. Wow, poor guy, busted like hell.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 Oswalt has a chance to make almost $5M with the Rockies this year if he reaches 18 starts and 110 innings. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2013/05/latest-on-roy-oswalt-contract-details-future.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter Why the f*** did we not sign him? Oh, right, a high ERA. UGH.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 Ortiz is a much better option reported.
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Looks like Chris Carpenter might pitch again this year after all. Threw 70 pitches today with no numbness.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 Looks like Chris Carpenter might pitch again this year after all. Threw 70 pitches today with no numbness. Does anything go badly for this team, ever?
digiblader Verified Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 They did lose Jason Motte, Rafael Furcal and any effectiveness of Mitchell Boggs and Mark Rzcepzynski. Good thing for a deep farm..
Abomination Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Does anything go badly for this team, ever? I find it interesting that everyone wishes we hadn't cut Carp, yet many people want us to give up on McGowan. There's some arms you just quit on unless there's a gun to your head.
GD Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Author Posted May 10, 2013 Comedic forum GOLD I try. I find it interesting that everyone wishes we hadn't cut Carp, yet many people want us to give up on McGowan. There's some arms you just quit on unless there's a gun to your head. People act like it's such a huge fail of a contract extension, but 1MM really doesn't get you that much, certainly not an MLB player. It's a fine risk to take.
Angrioter Old-Timey Member Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 When will the Twins move Sano up to AA? His stats are ridiculous in A+. .391/.470/.748 with a .528 wOBA and 233 wRC+. Has hit 10 HR in 115 AB. Sano will take 200 At-Bats in A-ball, then the Twins will send him to AA-ball
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 10, 2013 Posted May 10, 2013 Billy Hamilton and Gose each with a Home Run in Louisville tonight ... power show
TheHurl Site Manager Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Cobb has struck out 9 through 3 innings. He's also given up 3 runs and thrown 74 pitches
admin Site Manager Posted May 11, 2013 Posted May 11, 2013 Greinke making first rehab start in minors. I thought he was going to be gone for atleast a couple months. Lucky them.
Arjun Nimmala Vancouver Canadians - A+ SS It's been slow going at the start of the season for Nimmala, but on Sunday, he was 3-for-5 with his 3rd home run and 3 RBI. Explore Arjun Nimmala News >
