Has Vancouver ever been looked at? Or is the population too small to support a major league baseball team. and is it too close to seattle?

I can't see the montreal ever getting their team back.

While I could see them getting a team at some point, I wonder if they could be the Expos again. I believe the Nationals own the rights to the name and all the copyright stuff.

I doubt BC Place could support baseball.. but it's a reasonable idea. They should also get an NBA team back too.. they got ripped off last time, just like Seattle.

I've heard that Charlotte may not have the corporate base for a team, they have population but not much else.

Also, Salt Lake City, Albuquerque, Oklahoma City.

Those are some good choices.

A's should aso be moved in the not so distant future, or would they move to san jose forsure?

Dempster's warming in Boston in the bullpen--they refuse to go to Tazawa or Uehara(overworked). Could we see Allen Webster or Alfredo Aceves starting tomorrow in Boston, as if Dempster comes in, his start would get pushed back, with Hanrahan likely DL bound.

Really a mess for Boston--it means Uehara has to move up to the 9th, hurting the rest of the pecking order. If Hanrahan goes on the DL, it won't be Bard coming up--he's been incredibly wild in Portland(AA). Aceves is a no go--as he's been stretched out as a starter. Chris Carpenter has also been wild. Steven Wright was terrible already in the MLB this year, so he's out. Not terribly enticing options for relief in Boston. (oh and Morales is on the DL as well.)

Not exactly a great time for Red Sox Nation--after a 20-7 start, these injuries could be quite deflating, especially with the O's and Yankees closing in.

Lol f*** off.

Time to see if Abomination's great Stylish thing works.

lol I actually went to a Calgary Vipers vs. Winnipeg Goldeyes game a few years ago in Winnipeg.

How was the quality of the game?

Yeah, that league was/is riddled with those types.

I really wish I'd gone while I could've. It's because of people like me that the Vipers are gone lol.

That would be nice. This city could use another sports team, especially for those of us who could not possibly care any f***ing less about the CFL.

Maybe they'll become a bigger draw a second time around.

I'd like to see Calgary gt another minor league team...but likely won't happen in my lifetime...weather is just too awful/ unpredictable April-June.

If you need a fix go catch an Okotoks dogs game....lots of juco players trying to get work in during the summer...season runs from late June to early August..... nice stadium, good crowds....much better atmosphere then anything Calgary has ever offered.

I went to a game in Cleveland once versus the White Sox and Manny Ramirez and Paul Konerko were just blasting them out there.

@JonHeymanCBS: first in HRs (44) & OPS (.817) but last in attendance (by a lot!). early story of cleveland #Indians http://t.co/x58itPShKX

That's pretty depressing, I kinda like the Tribe

Wow 14k per game and actually playing decent baseball.

Same with KC, 18k and they are 17-11.

Dodgers have lost five in a row, now 13-18. Wow. Probably the two teams predicted to meet in the WS are two of the worst teams in baseball.

Wow, the Tribe are only averaging 14.8k / game. Compare that to us at just over 30k so far (in spite of our horrible start).

That's surprising. I figured the Dodgers' pitching would at least take them a bit far. Matt Kemp has been TERRIBLE, though.
