  1. His breaking ball is getting crushed, so it could be he's tipping but he could also just be telegraphing it. Comerica and Safeco both are more pitcher friendly parks when it comes to fly balls, especially when compared to Yankee Stadium. I think the Tigers are probably the best matchup for Max, and he could definitely be effective one or two times through the order against them.
  2. Yes, he only threw 3 innings in his simulated start today, so he's still being stretched out.
  3. Either a troll, or a horrible person, either way easy ignore
  4. Santander has good AB's today, he was the only one grinding away at Schlittler. I don't think its a coincidence the guy right after him (Clement) kept being able to pounce on Schlittler.
  5. In a way blowing yesterdays game could end up helping the team. They were able to face some adversity and bounce back in a hostile environment. Plus has to be a huge confidence boost for the bullpen. Only downside is hopefully Bieber can bounce back
  6. I was too stressed to post today lol, watched by myself locked in to the screen. Hope everyone enjoyed the game, a great day to be a blue jays fan!!
  7. Ump hasn't been calling high strike all game though, he has been consistent.
  8. Seemed like he kept getting ahead of guys, but couldn't finish anyone off. Could've been worse too, a couple of deep fly balls to deepest part of park.
  9. Agreed with JS here. Fluharty has balls of steel lets see if we can get a couple innings from him
  10. Assuming they get Judge in from 3rd, Bieber definitely let them off the mat
  11. It can also even out by Clement making a great play that Barger wouldn't! Who knows
  12. Even IKF is putting up grinding AB's, no way Rodon goes deep
  13. Yes the bright side is Bieber looked good, and also didn't panic when trouble started brewing. Definitely liking our chances ...
  14. Man that was such a costly error from a momentum perspective. If Bieber had quickly dispatched of them panic would have started setting in.
  15. Ernie does rate as a significantly better defender than Barger at 3rd, so while I do agree that I would keep IKF on the bench, I do see the logic of having an air tight infield with IKF in there.
  16. Santander looked comfortable in his right handed AB in game 1, I would give him the start.
  17. His command is there, and his fastball velocity, he is just giving up more hard hits than before. The key will be keeping it in the ballpark. Bieber basically has had one bad inning, when he gave up a 5 spot to the Reds, in which he bounced back and still won the game. I don't really see Rodon being an advantage for the Yanks, if anything it's a wash.
  18. Rodon had alot of trouble putting away Jays batters last time, over 100 pitches just to get through 5 innings, including a marathon battle with Schneider
  19. I like that their motto for this playoffs is "built for fall" and is on all their clothing. The Yankees are a dangerous team, but they in many ways are not built for fall haha
  20. Bruihl got some big outs during that 4 game sweep against the Yankees this year, he is not useless, he just needs to be used in the right situation. He got rocked by Bellinger, but the other 2 hits he gave up were weak contact.
  21. Wasn't pretty at the end, but man this is great
  22. lol Judge AB and fox is interviewing Trey's parents, this is such a laugher I love it
  23. I love that JS let him face one batter so he can get the ovation, JS pulling even the right emotional levers
