  1. I was born a month after Joe touched them all so I am about as old as you can be without having seen a Jays championship haha, can't wait for the game I am already mentally checked out of work.
  2. Yes, formula is Gausman/Bassitt/Hoffman with Flu being inserted for an Ohtani AB
  3. Trey should not face ohtani again of course, but with no.4 batter up you can squeeze another inning out of him
  4. IKF has been solid, he's not striking out and almost was the guy who broke the game open yesterday. I don't mind him batting 9th. Straw on the other hand looks lost at the plate, he cannot be out there.
  5. Someone didn't watch his last start against the Brewers. He didn't hit tonight cause the Jays executed!
  6. The bullpen has held when it had really needed to, there is a reason the Jays are in the world series.
  7. With Vladdy still 2 batters away I'd consider trying to steal third.
  8. But this is the 7th and there are no more lefties in the Dodgers pen.
  9. Its not Lukes' fault, there's a reason he's not an everyday player. He should not have hit there.
  10. Atleast Barger got on so Gimenez doesn't lead off next inning. A fresh inning for our top of the order, desperately need to do damage against Treinan.
  11. What do you next time top of the order comes up? Lauer? Bassitt?
  12. It annoyed me too that he shook off Kirk who probably wanted a sweeper, and instead just threw a cutter down the middle of the plate that he got away with.
  13. Jays are still OK, just desperately need to stop the bleeding here.
  14. Flu actually has 4 k's on Ohtani. He struck him out twice in that AB in the 9th.
  15. Good job by Barger taking his time, he knew he had him easily if he made a good throw. Lets get those runs back!!
  16. No that's how he has been pitched to this offseason, being pounded inside. Ideally though that pitch should have been a bit higher, he probably still would've swung and instead he pops it up.
  17. The pitch to teo was a stinker, that one to ohtani wasn't bad, just a great hitter.
  18. Yeah it really ruins my enjoyment of the game when s*** like that happens
  19. Scherzer looks good, I don't think anyone expected him to pitch a shut out. Next inning is being lead off by Vladdy, need him to get on and get something going.
  20. The big thing I think for the Jays is not striking out. Snell gives up a ton of ground balls, but ground balls at least have a chance of squeaking through, expecially on the fast skydome turf. But perhaps most importantly is forcing someone other than Snell or Sasaki to pitch, and doing damage when they do.
  21. Its amazing how the Jays aren't even having batted ball luck, with a very normal .309 BABIP. Even just thinking of a guy like Ernie, he missed a homer by an inch on that triple, and has been robbed multiple times by great defensive plays, the guy if anything has gotten UNLUCKY.
  22. He is bad at judging the distance of balls, and so he always gets excited too late because he's the last person to realize its a home run.
  23. Im happy for Bassit, to get his moment too. He has been a big part of this team.
