  1. That's absolutely pathetic that Chapman with all his natural talent, including the ability to throw 100+ mph would need to use sticky stuff to give himself even more of an edge. What a piece of s***.
  2. The Jays would know, or at least have a good idea, if any of their pitchers are/were sticky stuff users wouldn't they? If Dolis was and quit using it maybe it's time to put the guy out to pasture. Same with Chatwood. These guys struggle to throw strikes at the best of times, and now when they actually get it in the zone their pitches are way more hittable. If this is the case we have to stop trotting them out there and costing us games. Take them away from Charlie, Shatkins, same as you did with Panik.
  3. SWR has given up 5 runs over 2 innings so far today. No Ks and 7 hits. ERA up over 5 now. This MiLB season is really starting to f***ing irk me.
  4. Seattle is garbage and they are punching above their weight class right in my opinion, but despite that they are still in the wild card hunt so are they going to sell?
  5. Our bullpen is a steaming pile of f***ing monkey s***. Do they really have to give up runs every single f***ing game?
  6. Things are falling in line with the starting line up finally. Just missing Kirk and having to watch black hole Jansen again for some f***ing reason.
  7. Martin is DHing for NH today. Thank f*** he's back.
  8. Good thing the offense and starter spotted the bullpen a 5 run lead. Those clowns can't seem to go a single game without giving up runs and/or walks. Take the win though. Let's sweep them tomorrow
  9. How nice would it be if Reese could stay hot for the remainder of the season and possibly give the Jays a decent trade chip instead of waiver wire fodder. Same with Jansen too I guess, maybe he can also get hot with the bat and not be a bag of s*** at the plate all the time.
  10. Fair enough, but you have to wonder if the cost would be worth it to make sure the bullpen has more legit depth in 2022 (and beyond), after watching the bullpen f*** things up royally for this team over the last month and a half. They should literally be 1-2 games out of 1st in the AL east right now instead of 8.5. But sure, if Kimbrell can be had for cheap he can probably help the Jays go on a run this season.
  11. Don't want to see the Jays give up significant pieces for rentals. Try to bolster the team, and especially the bullpen for now and the future. That's what's nice about the Cimber acquisition. Years of control. I'd like to see them nab Richard Rodriguez from the Pirates and Taylor Rogers from the Twins. 3.5 years of control and 1.5 years of control.
  12. The Red Sox are f***ing ridiculous. f*** off already you pieces of s***.
  13. Nice to beat the s*** out of the Rays but let's not lose the next two games by 1 run now.
  14. This is f***ing ridiculous. How many of our top 5 or 10 prospects are on the motherf***ing IL all the time it seems?
  15. Well that f***ing sucks the big one.
  16. So did both Martin and Moreno get beaned? Martin in the helmet and Moreno in the hand? Now both are out?
  17. Kirk 2 for 3 with a double and a walk so far tonight. The guy is automatic at the plate pretty much. Smith had another homer and is 1 for 2 with a walk.
  18. Going out and getting a guy like Taylor from the Twins would be a nice add. Gives you another high end lefty out of the pen to guard against Borucki's injury woes, and if Borucki is healthy it gives a solid 1-2 lefty punch with a guy like Mayza as depth. Plus he's under control for next season too. I'd also like to see the Jays go out and add a legit closer too. Romano has been awesome, but two closers is better than one, and if you ever have a healthy Merryweather too, then your bullpen is suddenly disgustingly good and deep.
  19. lol Tommy Milone pitched for the Bisons today. Of course... Of all the pitchers on the goddamn IL that you can't wait to get back, of course he's the first one to come back.
  20. No kidding. This team won 60 something games two years ago. They've come a long way in a short time. This has been a crazy year, so much has gone wrong in that bullpen, plus the retarded schedule and the fact that they haven't really played a home game this season or last really. Yates - injured for the year, before even pitching Merryweather - to the 60 IL almost immediately Dolis - really slipped this year after being amazing last year Chatwood - flashed elite, then fell apart Borucki - tons of time on the IL Phelps - Another 60 IL guy after showing really, really well If only half of those things happen this team is probably 46-30 right now and in first place, because a few of those extra W's would have came against Tampa and Boston.
  21. Not impressed then. You should still be able to pitch with a penis fracture. He needs to toughen up.
  22. Frasso hasn't pitched since June 3rd. Enough with the f***ing pitcher injuries. Jesus christ anyways. At least I assume he's injured. Why else would he pitch 5 innings and then sit for nearly a month?
  23. Really can't afford to lose this game. They have two series with the Rays coming up, and they will also be playing Seattle who (surprise, surprise) just happen to be hot and playing their best baseball of the season so far just in time to face the Jays.
