Really need to put someone else in front of Vladdy. The amount of times Vlad has been left on deck this year is horrendous for us.

Didn't the players vote against robo umps? Kind of hard to feel for the players when they support umps botching calls.

That's 3 games in a row where the game might end with Vladdy at the on deck circle. If that isn't an argument for batting 2nd then I don't know what is.

They clearly wanted to give him the day off behind the plate so that wasn't an option.

And that's why you don't pinch in the 6th when your player is 2 for 2. You might need to pinch hit later for a better situation...

There is 0 doubt who our everyday 2nd baseman is now

He is supposedly an offensive catcher who has been average in that department at best. I'm not saying he can't get there ultimately since we're talking about a very small sample size. He was brought up originally out of desperation. There is a good chance Moreno comes up and takes his spot if he doesn't turn it around soon. Again, this isn't an indictment of his career long term, just talking about right now.

Kirk hasn't had a good career thus far tbh. He has only looked good because he was replacing a crappy Jansen at first. Probably could use a full season in AAA.
