  1. So did we just put Espinal on the IL to open up space or is he actually hurt?
  2. I came on here to post the exact same thing. We pinch hit our cleanup hitter for f***ing Valera lol.
  3. What did they say?
  4. See yall in 2022
  5. Nah I meant for Valera.
  6. A normal manager would use Kirk in this spot but I won't hold my breath here.
  7. There will be a lot of pressure on this team to win next year. I'm expecting a good offseason full of win now moves.
  8. Palacios last game as a Jay for this season.
  9. That was a great defensive play
  10. He seems to be very accurate from the outfield and has a cannon. His route running is too poor to last out there. Would be cool if he tried 3B at least.
  11. Would be a true statement if Semien didn't exist between them two lol
  12. Does anyone remember why Gurriel couldn't cut it in the infield? With his arm, he'd be a perfect candidate for 3B.
  13. Hence why I said so far. A guy like him isn't going to get 100 AB's to figure it out. Not on a team trying to contend
  14. Everyone wanted Smith up and there you have it, been a total scrub so far.
  15. Hope this isn't news that Springer is going to be out longer than expected. A lot were expecting for Springer to play today.
  16. Dickerson/Dyson against righties while Grichuk/Gurriel play against lefties. You know it's going to happen lol.
  17. Let's give him s*** for being on our most hated team in recent memory, the 2015 Royals.
  18. It's great to actually have some real speed off the bench and I remember him being a good fielder. Not sure if that's the case anymore. Wondering what happens with the bench once Springer comes back. Having 6 OFers on the roster seems unlikely.
  19. I am willing to give him credit just as long as you're willing to discredit him for when pitchers underperform as well. I've always been a strong believer that players are responsible for their performance and coaching at the MLB is more of just guiding and ego managing mostly.
  20. Should we give the hitting coach credit for Semien or just chalk that up to 2020 being an outlier season? I understand your point and I'm sure Walker does do good work since you never hear a bad word about him. I'm just saying why don't we hear anything about him when our bullpen has been trash the entire year or when the likes of Anderson/Roark/Garcia s*** the bed. Other than Manoah/Romano, who is the last Jays pitcher that we truly developed from the bottom to the top during Shapiro's tenure? Just playing devil's advocate here.
  21. So do we always give Walker credit when someone does well and ignore the ones that suck? Ray being good probably had more to do with 2020 just being a weird year and him playing for the one huge contract that can set him up for life. People are professionals and just say the right thing to make everyone look good. The fact we never hear anything bad about him is a great thing though. I just believe it's more on the players turning their careers around than it is on Walker who has some magic touch.
  22. Sick of Montoyo using Gurriel like he's a part time player with the current roster. Dude played 1B yesterday, get him there in place of Smith so you don't have to put Espinal 6th, especially with a lefty on the mound...
  23. Captain Kirk baby!! Remember that Montoyo pinch hit for him a couple games ago...
  24. Kirk got a ball right down the middle and missed
  25. Don't care if it worked... still a stupid decision lol
