  1. I love Kirk and all but why is he batting ahead of Gurriel? There is 0 sense in doing that especially when we've made it a habit of pinch running for him so that crappy bat would play ahead of Gurriel in those situations.
  2. If you're hoping to get your mind off the trop... enjoy lol.
  3. Looks like he traded some of his arm power for better route running on fly balls.
  4. I thought Gurriel was going to gun him out for sure. Very unlike him to throw so weakly.
  5. I can handle losing if the other team beats us fair and square but it pisses me off losing due to an incompetent ump.
  6. Can we get robo umps already. Who the f*** wants to watch this ********.
  7. I can't believe none of our coaches got tossed for this umps pathetic strike zone. f***ing soft!
  8. Ya I would have easily gotten ejected for that stupid call on Teo
  9. Does Dyson not know the count? He didn't move...
  10. You think Charlie answers to anyone? Idiot has been doing this type of s*** all year...
  11. How the f*** are you calling that a strike
  12. Thanks for that pinch run... we might have Jansen coming up with the game on the line...
  13. Sick of the ump giving the Rays strike calls that he was screwing Ray on
  14. Damn... that vladdy error killed Ray's pitch count.
  15. I said in my post above that Ray is an above average pitcher. Count me as skeptical to believe someone who has a career year during their walk season is likely to keep that pace up. It's going to be a tough call. I'm a much bigger believer in Semien as being able to keep his level of play up going forward since he's already done it. I think Ray fills a more important need but Semien is the safer bet. I don't think neither of these guys will give us an type of discount to come back. Let's hope Shatkins can strike a reasonable deal for both.
  16. Our top 8 today should be in the lineup practically everyday. It is the best overall team we can put out there.
  17. Agreed that it's not that easy because if it were, there wouldn't be so many bad contracts out there. For me, I think Ray is an above average pitcher but I'm not declaring him an elite pitcher until he does this for another season or two. I hope his contract reflects that if he comes back here.
  18. By not thinking one dominant season in a contract year will be the expected norm going forward lol.
