  1. The fact he created another account would suggest his real account doesn't work?
  2. What he did this season if he thinks he's going to get a massive deal is pukeworthy. Excuse my English as it's clearly my second language lol. And not saying there isn't a dumb team out there but I just hope we aren't the one who get desperate if we strikeout on Ohtani. I'd love Chapman back but only on a deal that reflects how he's performed the past few years.
  3. I never said that man... he's def top 10. I said it's pukeworthy that it feels like he wants to be paid like a guy who was coming off his MVP Oakland year instead of what he did this past season...
  4. It's a distraction for the lack of onfield success lol. Seriously though, lets hope we get Ohtani so we can all be friends again lol.
  5. Haha wtf... why even respond if that's all you're gonna say lol
  6. Wow haha... I can totally see that with how these guys act here man.
  7. Agreed about sounding likr Sid on my points but like I said, it's a message board with anonymity so Id prefer to save myself extra work than worry about articulating.myself better. In addition to having more tim to completely heal from his injury, I expected a contract year to be a big reason why Chapman could turn back to Oakland MVP guy, which he actually showed to start the season. Varsho for sure has value as a player but I hated the trade at the time and still do. I get why it was made but feel we should have gotten Carroll from Arizona based on what we gave even if we had to add slightly more to it.
  8. For the record, I do think the Blue Jays invested 100M or something and probably have the best facility in theory. Now how they use it is another question that no one will know unless you work for them. If it's anything like how they pull pitchers out of playoff games then it's probably a disaster lol.
  9. So here people are talking about it being a down year for Varsho and he'll be better based on 1.5 seasons of performance history but when I feel that way about Chapman who said his injured hip and recovery process hurt his performance, I'm an idiot. This place is hilarious man lol.
  10. Think the majority agree with this. It's the same keyboard warriors who run this place like China that probably won't lol.
  11. Go read my comments above you f***tard. I had bigger expectations for Chapman, as did a lot of people when we traded for him. In a contract year, I was expecting the best version of himself and I didn't see that. It sounds like he wants to be paid like that guy when he didn't show it... just that simple for me.
  12. Oh I agree if we were only talking about 1 year but I already said my comments were from their entire body of work, which you just broke down nicely. Their glaring issues each of those years ended up being the main reason why they lost in the playoffs too. And don't work about 2020 where they also got swept due to overmanaging and poor defense from Bo at SS. Same issues from the year got magnified in the playoffs... what a shocker lol.
  13. Agreed about Vlad and Springer. I honestly had more hope for Chapman and thought he could have turned the clock back to his MVP like season in a contract year and a better hip. Probably my fault for this expectation. And Varsho's lack of power and contact ability was disappointing. Loved the defense and baserunning though. Those are elite skills.
  14. Not sure but i heard it was some guy who benefiitted from AA's work and still uses it as his best achievement as a Blue Jay
  15. And yet your main argument on why we've won 0 playoff games during the Shatkins era is luck. The homerism syndrome runs deep on this board lol.
  16. Shhh... Atkins has been great and deserves a raise. Give one to Schneider too for pulling Berrios. What a genius that decision was lol.
  17. He was batting 8th on a bad offensive team. My God, with the way you talk, you'd think the Jays had the best offensive team in the game. Hate to break it to you but Chapman and Varsho were major disappointments this past season.
  18. It's a f***ing joke... stop getting your panties twisted man... so defensive for no reason... are you related to Shapiro or Atkins? Lol
  19. Giving Chapman anything more than 100M over 5 years would be ridiculous. He needs to pull a Semien/Bellinger by betting on himself and then look for that contract. What he did this past season was pukeworthy for his standards.
  20. He looks around at Vlad, Kirk, Manoah and says "are you sure this is high performance department actually works?" Lol
  21. God I miss Tim and Sid. Never get to watch the guy anymore. Hope this made it rounds to the Dodgers douche loll
  22. LOL don't even go there after blasting me for my other comments.
  23. Luckily people aren't only taking 1 year when forming their opinion. It's been 8 years of Shatkins with 0 playoff wins while having more resources than the teams you just listed. Oh and ATL has a ring...
