  1. You're good enough to leadoff but you're going to be platooned (Babe) You're good enough to bat cleanup but you'll be DFA'd (Vogelbach) You're good enough to bat leadoff but you'll stay in AAA (Horowitz) You're good enough to bat 2nd but can't DH on your days off from the field (Jansen) Something is clearly wrong with the decision making process on this team.
  2. We can all just agree that the Jays offense is pathetic and we shouldn't need any stat telling us otherwise. I recall saying this at the start of this year and being told I'm stupid because the Jays are average according to wRC+ while ignoring many other metrics. It's almost like watching games to see the obvious doesn't matter anymore. Advanced stats are great to fill in the holes since you cant watch every game of every player in baseball but don't let it overrule what you're clearly seeing out there. #TeamEyeTest
  3. Haha... how can this team be expected to hit when they gotta play in a "pitchers park." I have no idea how the 2021 Blue Jays hit so many homeruns but if you push the fences in, it apparently becomes harder. Analytics are great if you know how to use them to your benefit but the one thing it did was give a voice to people who have no business talking on the game of baseball. Less geeks who wouldnt even know how to hold a bat and more testosterone making decisions in the dugouts please lol.
  4. That should be the new slogan for the Jays. Bassitt/Gausman giving 0 f***s and just telling the world that they even know their offense is trash lol.
  5. Gausman: If Jays 'don't pitch well, we probably lose' https://www.thescore.com/mlb/news/2926924
  6. If you haven't noticed, majority of the fanbase has been forced to this position friend
  7. LOLL let him and the few others live in their delusional bubble.
  8. I have a feeling that part of the season ticket renewal date being moved up is also a way for Rogers to gauge fan interest. If they don't meet a certain quota then they'll pull the plug on Atkins and maybe even Shapiro before the deadline.
  9. Don't worry, the lefty/righty splits justify the lineup decisions. Who cares about the players performing well at the moment, players are just robots and this is all a simulation lol
  10. Top down, all need to go. Can't think of many other front offices that get this long of a leash. Based on the current product on the field and what we got in our farm system, fire them all.
  11. Glad we got all the righties in the lineup lol. Also, reminder to renew your season tix asap to watch this beautiful product in person
  12. Ya it's not a secret that we don't have any other real prospects to pull a move off for someone like Roberts. Can see them punting 2024 by selling off all their rentals and making pushes for guys with control to make a push in 2025.
  13. From batting Cleanup for the Blue Jays to getting DFA'd #2024BlueJays
  14. Either you're Loud-Picture9110 on Reddit or you're copying and pasting someone else's work
  15. Luis Roberts, come on down lol
  16. That is just so pathetic and everything we should come to expect from the Shatkins regime lol.
  17. Ya I get the logic obviously but I'd just prefer rolling with hot hands and players who are showing they deserve more playing time. I've always been in favour of playing hot players over what they've done in the past since not every player is the same currently from what they may have shown in the past. Guess that's the difference between being data driven at all times and letting your eyes dictate who plays in some situations. *shrugs
  18. Keep dropping Springer in the lineup until we have no choice but to bench him. Batting him 5th is stupid until he shows signs of life.
  19. Why do we even bother going with all righties against lefties when we still suck. Just put out your best hitting team, which means Horowitz plays regardless.
  20. Is there a reason why we're not calling up Martinez? Is this related to delaying the MLB clock on him? He could easily DH if his defense is THAT bad at 2B.
  21. Barger coming up to keep the seat warm for our savior Votto?
  22. Literally the one thing we needed to improve in the offseason and we somehow spent 50M without doing exactly that. Only once the fans stop showing up or start booing heavily during home games will we see true change. Too many comfortable folks in this organization.
  23. Bat that scrub 9th to send him more messages.
  24. f*** you Springer. Kirk and Vlad at least had great swings.
