    Feel good. it is brutal that some teams are trying to make a profit off of the TV revenue without really trying to be competitive/only running things on a shoestring budget.

    Why does it seem like so many pitchers pitch like Cy Young against the Jays the first few innings? Maybe it is just me.

    I used to just really hate the Yankees. but now I hate the Rays, Red Sox and Yankees and equal amount. Whoever we happen to be playing.

    I am not too worried. Pete Walker and the coaching staff face those teams a f*** ton and surely can prepare Berrios better than the Twins staff.

    There isn't much time left...should the Jays make a push for Story for 3B? What would it cost? I suspect the Rockies are getting very ancy.

    Yeah, I don't see a lot of missing pieces. Maybe a plus 3B? Trevor Story might be still in play. I think Atkins has addressed the bullpen pretty well...and we have a top 5 starting rotation in baseball, and our offense is really, really good.

    We're not done. The Jays will add someone else with an fWAR of between 0.1 and 0.3 WAR.

    If this is it, all he really does is guarantee us a slightly worse draft pick. Although Hand has been s***** since the sticky stuff crackdown. Maybe we get a better draft pick - dunno.

    A 2nd round draft pick that will not make an MLB roster for 4-6 years doesn't really fit in this org's window. I mean, they are nice to have, but for those guys I think you'd want players a lot closer. I think both Ray and Semien could garner some almost ready for prime time prospects.

    100% agree. I think this is holding up Atkins and Shapiro from really cutting loose, more than any payroll restrictions.

    It will piss everyone off, but yeah. Sell these guys for some controllable talent. The Jays don't have a lot of payroll commitment next year. They can trade and sign FAs for 2022. And I will bet the Jays will still make September interesting.
