  1. What do we do? Semien wants to play SS, IIRC, so Ray may be the only elite player we can re-sign. Is Espinal the answer at 3B for now? Can Kay be a 5th starter? Is Groshans ready? I am in favour of realignment, for one. Universal DH for two. Expanded playoffs for three. The CBA discussions will be interesting. I think the MLBPA likes all three of those notions.
  2. I, too, have a tiny penis. That weirdly veers to the left. Urinals are an issue.
  3. I was thinking that. Seatlle and Toronto can f*** off, they say.
  4. Jesus Christ, words cannot explain how much I hate the Yankees, Red Sox and Rays. f*** them all. f***!!!
  5. Plus Fielders struck out a f*** ton. And he was considerably slower than Kirk is at this point. Also, the Jays didn't really need a DH then. Kirk is a catcher, sort of a premium defensive position where offense is mostly a plus. Other than those things it is the exact same scenario.
  6. Assuming Semien is walking, do you guys think Biggio has a shot to do well at 2B? And here's another one...trade for JD? Twins eat 50% of contract for 2-3 prospects? Then we sign Ray.
  7. Yeah, I 100% agree. The Jays were down, that f***er was laughing at us, I am glad he was pegged. It was a clean hit, if there is such a thing. Kudos to Ryan for knowing exactly where to throw.
  8. 2/3 would be f***ing awesome. Sweep? I can't even think that way...it would be just too beautiful.
  9. I thought it would have been prudent/smart to rest Springer the entire Orioles series. I was very wrong, clearly. I am a little concerned about Ryu, though.
  10. I would rather lose with those guys pitching than some s***** AAAA scrub.
  11. Jinx A jinx, in popular superstition and folklore, is a curse or the attribute of attracting bad or negative luck. The word "jynx" meaning the bird wryneck and sometimes a charm or spell has been in use in English since the seventeenth century. The modern spelling and connotations developed late in the nineteenth century.
  12. I was thinking this exact same thing. Dickerson should never hit higher than 7th unless he gets hot. I would rather Kirk lead off by a mile. And I thought that before his two dinger game.
  13. He didn't hurt himself. That part was good.
  14. I love everything about Manoah. The list is long...loves playing, loves learning, great for the dugout, etc.
  15. MLB is grading him at 55 now. Holy s***.
  16. Love him or hate him, A-Rod was one of the best baseball players to ever play. I think even if he didn't use PEDs he would have had a similar career trajectory. But I hate him. I remember a game when he called of John McDonald from making an infield play that still sticks in my craw. What an *******.
  17. Even a split means they are still in it, but damn winning these two would be amazing. We may end up 2.5 GB at the end of it.
  18. I turned it off when we were down 8-2, started doing housework, but then my phone blew up (Twitter) and I turned it back on in to see Lourdes' dinger. I almost turned it off again after the A's were up 10-8, but figured nah. The season is almost over. Enjoy it while I can. And they f***ing won! Craziest, come from behind, win I can ever remember watching.
  19. I don't think so. Before the crackdown, he was pretty solid. I think he suffered a lot from not being able to use foreign substances.
  20. I was thinking that exact same thing! lol But part of me figures this may have been what happened to Hand.
  21. Ray is my priority, but you make good points. The Yankees would find a way to keep him. I wish we could play with the big boys.
  22. I 100% agree with you. Semien is a luxury that would be amazing, but his signing would congest things, lock up a good portion of our payroll, and blocks opportunities for our strong minor league infielders moving forward. However, if we do re-sign him, some of the young talent could be trade bait for other needs. Ray would be a major get.
  23. What would you have done differently? Without the 20/20 hindsight? I am genuinely asking.
