    I dunno. He always sucked, but he was able to run into a few every now and again. I haven't been watching closely enough to know where his holes are, but the league certainly seems to have figured out where to pitch him. If the Jays are serious about competing, they're going to have to do something about the catching. I don't think Kirk's the answer either.

    This actually could be more of a problem than some people might imagine. My friend in the states was wiped out for nearly 2 weeks after getting the 2nd Pfizer shot. It's been a month later and he's still experiencing some lesser side effects. Can't imagine how it would be for a professional athlete.

    You've got the wrong Roberto Ramos lol. Ramos is a power hitting lefty that tore it up in AAA for the Rockies org but was never given a shot at the show. Just too many holes in his swing I guess.     Still, I find it hard to cast any opinion when there's been no details released at all. We live in a hyper-sensitive climate in 2021 where people can be canceled for even the smallest of infractions. Not to make any excuses for the guy, but it's not hard to imagine that boundaries could get blurred the odd time when you're a famous and rich athlete who routinely has women throwing themselves at you. It is freaking Roberto Alomar after all, the guy's basically a god in Toronto lol

    I think we have to temper expectations before throwing Alomar to the pitchfork mob. Remember, this is the same organization who threw Yunel Escobar to the wolves and refused to let him play another game because of something on his eye-black.

    Yes, the first shot pretty much just prepares your body for the 2nd shot. The 2nd shot is the one causing people a lot of problems around the world. Risky for pro athletes to be taking this as it's not even FDA approved.

    You need guys who are versatile on the bench though. Not much use in having a one dimensional player who might be able to run into a few riding the pine in this day and age. And if you did have someone on the bench to play that role, it's always a veteran. A young guy like Rowdy would need playing time, but he's just not worth giving it to.

    Rowdy can definitely run into some cookies, but he has the longest swing and slowest hands that I've seen from a power hitter in quite some time. Not to mention his terrible plate discipline. What do the Jays see in him? A team needs someone who can produce at the 1B/DH position and Tellez just doesn't have the upside. He's the perfect player to go play in Korea. He reminds me of a Roberto Ramos type player.
