That alll goes to starting pitching... Love our top 3. SP4 is a hoping based on past performance. SP5 is no predictive past performance and just hoping...

    I remember BTS shopping a guy for a 6th round pick the next year or he was going to drop him... I spent that 6th. I got an SP named Logan Webb.

Former first round pick who was a centerpiece of the Starling Marte trade. Still very young and just coming off injury. Doesn’t fit my win now timeline. Thanks

    Then if you have two players on the team that hit near .300 vs .250 that is 60 additional hits. In a game where pitching staffs sometimes give up under 5 hits in a game. Sixty is a lot of hits.. Maybe that one hit turns into a stolen base, or the next guy walks and pushes a guy to third and then he scores on a pass ball etc, etc... Extrapolation in baseball is a big deal.

    The dreaded spring cleaning. This is when the Danger Analytical team starts punching itself in the face going back and forth over players to cut.

    They should calculate the ARB based on months of performance and salary divided by four. So Bo would get low arb for 3/4 of the season and set an Arb $$ record for the last quarter of the season but based off 1/4 of his 2022 salary.

    Funny thing is, before the big trade, I was saying a return of Varsho and Mantiply. Apparently he is a potential trade chip for the DBacks being that he is Arb eligible next year and they don’t need him if not in the hunt. I would maybe circle back if I were Atkins. I am sure he still has a feel who and what the DBacks like want.

    Just to add to this. There are times you might have a young green flag player who is eligible to be picked up on waivers and put on your MLB roster. The reason being, they got called up to the MLB for a cup of coffee and have played in a game, then they were sent back down. When you click on the player, there is a drop down tab to the right and tabs that say stats, games etc. Click on the games to see GP MLB. If still not clear, just go to Baseball reference and see if you see any GPs on the MLB club. Again, if a player has zero MLB games, don't claim them off waivers or you will get a waiver wire penatly. Jim allows no errors for newbies since I guess he was not given leeway in some other league..

    Bogey is their SS. Tatis will play in the OF.. Might end up being LF/RF instead of CF or a mix, but not much talk about Tatis playing IF.

    They have Means coming back from the IL eventually, Bradish, Greyson R, DL Hall and others enroute. I’m afraid they will be a big pain in our ass before long.
