  1. Hahaha. I'm sure they don't live in Baltimore, just like the A's don't live in Oakland....
  2. I blame this whole thing on the Blue Jays looking like the Cincinnati Reds tonight for no good damn reason. Please don't do it again... I want the Royal Blue shirt with white.
  3. I don't want Espinal anchoring our D, Jesús Christ, get your head out of your ass.
  4. I thought he was with the Vancouver Canadians?
  5. Espy's D has sucked though.. Hits are few and far between.
  6. I don't want them to lose their hearing. I just want them off the roster.
  7. I think Bassitt was/is leading the league in shut out innings pitched or games with 6 or more shut out innings or something?? Not playoff staff worthy?
  8. Why are the Blue Jays wearing Red today??
  9. Gausman has given up 2 runs early a few times. It happens with a lot of good pitchers.. They allow runs in the 1st and then settle down. Halladay used to give up his weekly runs in the first also.. Let's see what happens the rest of the game before we start jumping off bridges..
  10. Josh Hader doesn't account for a tied game. Just like Romano's record in tied games. A one run game probably means it was tied so if you are the losing team it is not a save situation. The Orioles have enough BP depth to stay close or tied until they get that run at home or get to their closer on the road..
  11. Yup, your right, I'm an idiot.... I don't know why I thought he played 2b for the Tigers..
  12. He didn't play 2b with the Tigers? I could swear he qualified at 2b in Fantasy... My bad
  13. Candelerio to the Cubs...
  14. I have a strong feeling Laureano will be moved to a contender at the deadline. More ABs (warming up) a change of scenery, being reinvigorated by a playoff race and hopefully a better hitters park than the Coliseum, I think he will be value added to me as a depth or UT piece.
  15. Did you see Teo gift us some runs and bases on D during the Seattle series? Granted he also got a lot of runs for his team..
  16. It's so when there is a lefty on the mound we have options other than Espinal or Kirk assuming Jansen is in the game.
  17. It is based on the fact that historically, once RL has gotten his rhythm going, (not on IL or just coming off a long IL) that he is an upgraded bat who can also play D. I think the 2019 RL is still in there. I don't want to sacrifice run prevention just for a bat. We could have kept the guys from last year if we wanted to do that. We also saw what bad OF D led to in the playoffs. Hence I want Duval, first choice, just don't see it. Happy with Teo's bat, but his D will kill us if we need to put him in the OF.
  18. Varsho is still my boy.. However, you need to produce. I firmly believe the Blue Jays are a better team with Varsho on it. The D and base running has contributed significantly to our success. However, you need to produce at the MLB level and we need to do what we need for the TEAM to win the WS this year. KK is a FA next year, the Varsho situation will probably work itself out and he can only go up with the bat, which I think he will.. However, this is a move that should help the team 2023.
  19. Since he can play solid D, you could probably put him in LF as a starter, Witt at 2b, and rotate KK and Varsho between CF, PR, late inning sub on D etc... Meanwhile pull the eject handle on Biggio and Espinal.
  20. I am considering that due to injuries and spending the start of last year and this year on the IL that he still needs to get his rhythm.. Once he had enough ABs to replicate spring training last year, he started improving. I think he is kinda a Marcus Semien lite cerca 2020 when he started off really, really bad and then had over a .1000 OPS the last month of the season.
  21. The more I think about it, since Duval will probably not get moved. With defense, cost and roster construction in mind. I think Ramon Laureano makes the most sense for a RHH.
  22. Cubs had won 8 in a row and are in a very winnable situation.. Hence they decided to go for it. Stroman has not pitched well lately anyway..
  23. Not in save situations. However, tie games, he is one of the last guys I would go to.
  24. A few weeks too late, but the right move.
