It is based on the fact that historically, once RL has gotten his rhythm going, (not on IL or just coming off a long IL) that he is an upgraded bat who can also play D. I think the 2019 RL is still in there.
I don't want to sacrifice run prevention just for a bat. We could have kept the guys from last year if we wanted to do that. We also saw what bad OF D led to in the playoffs.
Hence I want Duval, first choice, just don't see it. Happy with Teo's bat, but his D will kill us if we need to put him in the OF.
