I mean, we're probably in the running for Fowler as it is with Reddick gone. It's not like us signing him is impossible. $60-75 million over 4-5 years seems like it might get it done to get him. I recognize that a lot of teams want him, but it's not out of the realm of possibility we land him.
Maybe landing both Blevins and Boone is unrealistic. Rather Blevins and then try to get Brad Zieglar for a little cheaper anyways. That's not terribly unrealistic. Fill up the rest of the bullpen with Benoit and maybe bring up Conner Greene as a bullpen guy like they did with Sanchez in 2014.
White Sox are rebuilding. Is Adam Eaton really that unrealistic a target? If we trade Stroman and maybe 1-2 top prospects, you can land him. Eaton is controllable on a team friendly deal until 2021. He's well worth it. In the mean time, stretch out Biagini as a starter. Yeah this'll make our rotation weaker, but a top 3 of Sanchez-Happ-Estrada is still very very good.
