    Definitely a huge difference in philosophy from the Jays emphasizing run prevention. Toronto has three good CF defenders and Miami plan for the position is to try a 2B who hasn't played a single inning of OF in his seven year pro career? Maybe he does go out there and perform just like Varsho, but doesn't exactly seem like a smart gamble

    It wouldn't be a bad model for success (collect arms and high obp guys) if it included strong defense. Without that component, they are wasting too much of that pitching value.

    Yeah that's what I was thinking, they'll be lucky if they pull two stars and two more above average regulars out of those eight, because that's just how prospects work. Even if their best young pieces all reach their ceilings, they still would need to go out shopping for some star talent, especially on the pitching side. It's not feasible to make it all come together with perfect timing, I don't see why they wouldn't start chipping away with a big add or two this winter. In fairness, maybe they did target a couple top guys who in turn showed no interest in moving to Baltimore.

    Really don't see why they wouldn't sell edibles etc at a huge mark up just like alcohol. Quite frankly, it's a lot safer to have huge numbers of stoned people compared to drunk. You could have a regular segment where you scan the crowd and try to find the folks who made the mistake of trying edibles for the first time while in a crowd of 40k.

    When posting a picture, you want to uncheck the box that says "retrieve remote file and reference locally" because apparently that actually means "turn my photo into a thumbnail".

    Rogers is a bit behind the times adding all these new areas in which to consume alcohol. They could have made an enclosed area just beyond the CF wall and called it section 420.

    The O's and Red Sox finish off their respective schedules with a four game set at Camden Yards. That series could end up having huge draft implications.

    This is only a quick snapshot of the video shown here, but in the full length version there are a lot more white people, including a short bald one who is being escorted out for being racist and offering to purchase someone's daughter. It's amazing how realistic these 3D models are getting.

    Can't really tell from this angle but this was Kevin Cash btw. I thought it was a neat picture, a young player looking very much like a future manager studying the game.

    It wasn't an original idea by any means, have seen a few teams do the same on twitter. Will try to remember to start with number 99 Ryu next year.
