  2. Some of our fans are calling for a 12 month per year high performance lab, and Baltimore can't send someone down to Walmart for a camera and tripod

I like that for Toronto. McCabe isn't a world beater but he solidifies the middle of the defense core and with the 50% retention, Toronto gets him at just $2M per year for another two more seasons. I would think that price would be reasonable for McCabe @50% alone, but also getting a useful bottom six forward in Lafferty, signed for another season at a fairly low rate.
  6. If you go through the comments, he shows on a world map where they'd all end up
  7. Like BTS stated, it seems more the opposite. The Rockies are trying to break away from the old way of thinking (which gave no regard to load management) but have swung the pendulum too far the opposite way. Anyway it seems like we agree it's a strange and likely faulty line of thinking, whatever led to them assuming they improve their fortunes by sitting their best players at home.
  8. My crowd? Kindly dig up one statement of mine that would even remotely coincide with this claim of yours regarding my opinions.
  9. Sounds like some classic overthinking to say the least
  10. Was it Kirk catching though? That would at least be only four and a half feet over most catcher's heads.
  11. Pearson turns 27 this summer? Time flies
  12. Not a ton of sample available of either of them pitching in shorter stints, but I can't help but wonder if perhaps a White/Kikuchi piggyback would be a much more effective 5th starter situation than either of them separately. Both of them going out with a mindset of being asked to get say 9-12 outs each. Likely tough to pull off unless the BP includes at least one guy with options who can be cycled down to Buffalo for a fresh arm.
  13. Haha no one in this thread saying anything positive about White for days. Welchy just woke up wanting to talk down to everyone this morning I guess.

Quite a few pieces involved but it's basically the going rate for a notable player on an expiring deal at this time of year. First round pick plus throw ins
  15. Sorry to hear about Raquel Welch, I assume she was a hero of yours.
