    Definitely worth giving someone else a shot next time, probably House. It's too bad we don't even have any of those low ceiling types prospects to push for in the upper minors, like back when I convinced myself to be excited for Sean Nolin to get a chance.

    Granderson struggling badly, d'Arnaud started off hot - then got hurt and hasn't hit since. Not looking good in Mets land.

    If batting average is all you have to work with, you're a mile over your head in this discussion. The numbers that matter (as pointed out above) suggest Martin is doing his job.

    Well based on any reasonable expectations he hasn't been disappointing at all.

    Very easily could have done that and still went with Barney defensively. Maybe weary about running down the bench again even with a decent lead.

    I guess he did well enough, but none out with the bases loaded, would be nice to see Smoak make this guy throw a strike and not go chasing that first pitch off the plate.
