  1. From what I can find there isn't much written about Ohlman's defense, other than that it was a concern as he came up. I just don't see how Maile wouldn't be a better option than Salty. The bat can't possibly perform much worse, and we know he's better behind the dish.
  2. Yeah that experiment has to be soon coming to an end. We can find another noodle bat who is at least much better at playing the position. Heck that could have been Graterol.
  3. I'd say Sr was a notably more explosive, springy athlete. If he wasn't a true 5 tool guy, it appears he's closer than Jr, who seems to be more of a pure ballplayer than a pure athlete.
  4. Gary has been asking for it for quite some time, Gov just did the board a favor.
  5. Welcome back bud! You and me this week in the LoD!!
  6. They clearly want nothing to do with that bat.
  7. Yeah, Stro came up absolutely huge but this win will be remembered for one moment.
  8. Nice! What a fun game and a big W! Flying Coghlan FTW!!
  9. ....but you do know that Osuna doesn't make that decision....right?
  10. Ice cream still tastes pretty good after midnight.
  11. Great job by Barney to get the lead runner. Would be awesome to grab a second out on the slide if that comes to fruition.
  12. That's a good point about Fowler having 4.5x more experience than Diaz.
  13. Coghlan leap, Stroman first career hit and run scored, Salty hit rock bottom.
  14. Stroman's gonna put a charge into one and show the boys how it's done!
  15. So Grilli will have to be done after this inning as we don't want to wear him out. Looks like Howell is warming up, and he's a fresh arm coming off the injury. If we get beyond that, probably have to look at the idea of using one of our next two scheduled starters, sending them down after the game and bringing up someone to start in their place (House?)
  16. <-- It needs tweaking but I wanted to be the first to rock a Flying Coghlan avatar!
