  1. The Reds lost 94 games last year, and followed that up by losing Zach Cozart and replacing him with Cliff Pennington. What the hell did Votto expect?
  2. MLB aren’t going to pre-empt the court so likely it’ll be extended until the hearing in June unless charges are dropped before then.
  3. When I was in San Francisco last month it was noticeable that at least half of the plaques on the floor surrounding AT&T Park were for various Bonds records http://i.imgur.com/glIjXbI.jpg
  4. TBF Betts has the same WAR as Trout while appearing in 4 less games this season. It's Trout's historic consistently high WAR year on year that sets him apart as the best. Ohtani just defies any comparison, he's simply unique.
  5. TBF there was very little chance Machado was ever going to sign an extension. But yeah, they are in a bad situation, especially with Britton injured and harming his trade value.
  6. Haha, you walked right into that one!
  7. Ohtani ends up with 11 strikeouts. Logan Morrison after the game: “He's only 23 years old and is going to get better. I think he's doing something that nobody has probably ever done, and it might be a long time before you see it again. There's another guy in that clubhouse who is a really good player, but to me, with what [Ohtani] does on the mound and with the bat, he's probably the best player in the world.”
  8. I bet some of these casuals have never even been to a MLB game.
  9. Ohtani 7 strikeouts through 3 innings so far.
  10. Pat you idiot, a pitcher not knowing they are worse 3rd time through the order isn’t magically going to make them better.
  11. Close! He’s just dropped out of the top 3 best players after missing it /s
  12. Ok this inning we’re definitely going to score haha
  13. IMO Harper is 2nd but yeah it’s pretty close.
  14. Got to score this inning surely?
  15. This is surely Biagini’s last chance to start - Gaviglio looks like someone who should be given a shot.
  16. Good start though striking out Betts!
  17. I'd personally rank the odds of getting the 2nd wildcard as Angels / Jays / Twins / Mariners in that order (and I don't consider the A's a realistic contender). Long, long way to go though - especially as the only team out of those 4 that seems a lock to be buyers at the deadline is the Angels, the other 3 could each be sellers, buyers or neither.
  18. The Twins are right back in the picture for the 2nd wildcard after going 8-2 in the last 10 games since playing us. The Angels still lead, with Ohtani scheduled to start against the Twins almost straight after our game is over.
  19. http://i.imgur.com/rTFAVJf.jpg http://i.imgur.com/p3WyQoY.jpg
  20. Even worse - it means Ramirez has been DFA to make room on the 40 man.
