  1. Is any of this Winter Fest getting broadcasted?
  2. Holy f*** this thread went off the rails. The last 3 pages are unreadable.
  3. Pearce is probably just the odd man out. Someone will be interested in him as lefty masher if not now or at the deadline for sure. Cut or trade Zeke. Granderson fills the only role he might have useful in.
  4. Well Zeke reminds of Nien Nunb every time I see him. So he should probably be on the move as well.
  5. Royals losing Hosmer might be our only hope for any team to take Morales for less than eating 50% of his salary and still think everyone would pass.
  6. Hopefully this trade means they are spending money on a starter pushing Biagini into the pen where we can easily adsorb the loss of Leone. I really would have liked to see what Greene could have done in a reliever role. He looks like Sanchez 2.0
  7. Not a fan of the fact that he never gets on base. Surprised they gave up on Greene. Its difficult to trade a guy throwing 100 MPH with ease and with a move to the bullpen probably would have been excellent.
  8. I don't really have an issue with the signing of Morales. Its giving him 3 guaranteed years which was the confusing move. They were seemingly bidding against themselves in a market that had no demand. I would love to have Adam Lind back right now.
  9. Expect plenty of mouth breathers and neckbeards. They will be ready to go with pitchforks and bring back AA signs if Atkins/Shapiro don't sign Lorenzo Cain or trade for Christian Yellich by that event.
  10. Great gif but I don't see why its relevant lol
  11. I don't understand the obsession with making Biagini a starter. And I really hope they don't go into next season without adding a capable starter.
  12. If I was living as a vegetable with no hopes to recover I wouldn't want to be a burden on anyone. This is a really sad story. Terrible actually.
  13. Well now with both Cutch and Longoria they will be actually fun to watch now?
  14. Cobb would be great but with compensation attached to him I don't see it happening. Would prefer him over Lynn tho.
  15. I thought he chased way more in 2017. And the numbers do bare that. He still walked quite a bit but some of the pitches he use to lay off he was flailing at badly. I might buy into his swing adjustments to be honest. A team might score big time signing him cheap.
  16. I would rather get a starter. I don't think they are going to spend that 15M anyway. Continue to look at low cost adds.
  17. Or trade Pillar play Cain in CF and have Teoscar Hernandez play RF.
  18. Probably the best sentence I have read in 2018 so far and it's going to be hard to top that.
  19. Was she at least hot? Or did she have a dog in her twitter pic to confirm shes not hot?
  20. I agree. The most exciting thing about next season is potentially seeing the debut of Vlad Jr. I have zero expectations. They are going to go really young after the Donaldson mid season trade.
  21. Well he should have been non tendered and definitely should be cut now. Granderson/Pearce platoon in LF. Doesn't really have a spot outside of AAA depth which would have made sense on a minor league deal.
  22. Isn't there a rule if you release him by a certain time he doesn't get that arbitration salary. Like what the White Sox did with Brett Lawrie or did I make this up in my head.
  23. Yea not exactly the impact Outfielder but at least maybe Zeke can f*** off now and Granderson can be flipped at the deadline.
  24. Well if the Pirates couldn't get premium prospects for 2 years of Gerrit Cole. They weren't going to get much of anything for Andrew McCutchen. Those are just embarrassing returns. And it massively effects the trade market when teams aren't cashing in on premium players.
  25. The more and more I think about it. I think Washington is going to do everything possible to keep Bryce Harper and meet his ridiculous demands. I actually would not be surprised to see Harper stay in Washington. If he gets the money he wants he has no reason to leave. Washington is positioned well to dominate the NL East for at least another few seasons.
