I understand MLB Front offices not wanting to give out long term contracts to older players but it seems like the money has dried up industry wide. I don't understand how these veteran players aren't signing 1 or 2 year deals for like 8-12 million. Teams just aren't spending money at all. Just a really s***** time to be a free agent.
I mean we aren't that far removed from role players getting multi year contracts for decent coin.
I mean you can f*** her you just don't have to date her. I mean who really cares what someones politics are if you don't have to deal with them everyday.
I still don't understand why Ohtani came over now. Hes going to be used a pinch hitter and left so much money on the table to pitch here. He could have comfortably continued doing both in Japan and came over for 200+ million. I will never understand his decision its mind blowing. Hes a better person than I if he truly doesn't care about money because hes going to have to be insanely elite to ever sniff that kind of money again.
They are both pretty sweet to be honest. I am just glad they are both gone. We don't have to watch Zeke play Outfield anymore and don't have to watch Goins swing a bat.
Tristan Pompey talked a lot of s*** in his draft year out of high school for being "disrespected". In fact his twitter was worse than Stroman's yet he seems to have backed up the talk and comfortably made himself a first round pick. Hes been pretty impressive at Kentucky.
