    The fact that we are still technically in a playoff race is hilarious. This team sucks but so does the American League. Oh well go Nats I guess!

    Ohlman can't catch that much is clear. Nice outing for Rowley. I would say I'm looking forward to his next start but watch him end up on the 10-day DL.

    Would be nice if Bautista played well for a couple of weeks so we can move him. Obviously we still won't get much if anything but it would atleast open playing time for a young Outfielder.

    Kind of weird to read Osuna walked 2 batters in one inning. But he also struck out 3 so that's good. I would like to see him go back to trying to just miss bats. Tired of bleeders sneaking through the infield on his cutter.

    Probably a little bit of both. Nobody understands why Gibbons makes the decisions he makes. But I also don't know why Taylor Cole is here to begin with.

    Who is Taylor Cole? He looks like a mormon.

    Shulman is awesome. The fact that we might be getting potentially more of him next season is extremely intriguing.

    Would be nice if they stopped calling up these betas.

    It might be 3 weeks early. I would be concerned if his command was wonky. But throwing strikes has not been an issue for him. Its an agressive move but they had been extremely conservative with him through A-Ball. With Valdez going on the DL. Hes a logical move if they are considering him in September anyway. Otherwise we're just going to see another AAA scrub get hammered.

    Borucki should be starting in Toronto Wednesday night instead of Valdez.

    That was just an awful performance by Osuna. Could not locate and his velocity is down across the board. Sucks because he was one of the only fun things about the season and hes doubled his ERA in like a week.

    I always liked this ballpark its even better with that stupid hill gone.

    Wow Bautista more of that please. I didn't see that ball land.

    Not a pretty lineup but hopefully Stroman throws the ball well. We actually have a chance to win the season series believe it or not.

    Osuna's fastball still isn't back but his slider is so nasty sometimes it doesn't matter.

    No Springer and Altuve. I would like to say we will win. But we have Cesar Valdez on the mound. And quite possibly the worst OF defense ever assembled.

    Makes sense. Obviously the move was escalated by a need in AAA for a catcher. However he earned it. I know he doesn't hit for much power but to be walking more than he strikes out is pretty impressive. Hes a glove first guy but hes shown he can hit a little as well. They have been pretty aggressive with him. Montero is hurt now but its my hope we move him in August to free up a 40-man spot for a young catcher to work with Martin. Hopefully that happens. Raffy Lopez is our backup catcher for now.

    Don't worry so much about what you hear. They were likely only interested in him if he came over for nothing. That's why the trade never happened. I kinda wish we did get him because not acquiring him probably went into the decision of giving Morales a 3 year deal. Bruce is going to need to DH. If he can't play 1B. He's not a fit.
