  1. I personally just want to see him in a position with more range. Hes just fun to watch. I still really hope he gets some starts in CF. Not only for versatility but also to maintain Outfield eligibility in fantasy lol.
  2. Didn't Vlad say when he was 16 that his goal was to make the big leagues at 19. If he goes and hits .400 at AAA for a month and doesn't come up in September I can see him being quite pissed off. Ross Atkins has already made the statement that he won't factor service time in his decision to call up Vlad. But its going to be really difficult to be sneaky especially if hes not noticeably bad defensively. I think the Jays should should just hold him back until April 15th next year and Atkins can take the blame. People already hate him so its perfect.
  3. Looks like Diaz might be the guy that see's his playing time reduced the most. Another SS start for LGJ I think that's where they will mostly want to see him play down the stretch.
  4. I will try to get in one of the leagues for next year.
  5. I have spent most of the season in first. I'm currently in second. I have been absolutely ravaged by injuries lately. Based on projections alone I should win my league though. I have some adjustments I would like to make. Health will ultimately be huge for me.
  6. C: Evan Gatis and Wilson Ramos (DL) Infielders: Matt Carpenter, Javy Baez, Trea Turner, Brian Dozier, Maikel Franco, and Josh Donaldson (DL) Outfielders: Giancarlo Stanton, Nelson Cruz, Kyle Schwarber, Gregory Polanco, and Andrew McCutchen SP: Corey Kluber, Gerrit Cole, Kenta Maeda, Ross Stripling, and Jameson Taillon RP: Craig Kimbrel, Bud Norris, Jeurys Familia, A.J. Minter, Adam Ottavino, and Arodys Vizcaíno (DL) I have some interchangeable parts to make spot starts. And I also recently lost 2 of my closers so far this season. So I need more relief help. And I only own Maikel Franco during his hot streak.
  7. I don't think he will ever be a high walk guy. But considering the drastic improvements hes already made. I think if they came to him with this information hes the type to sit down and listen. I'm not going to get overly excited about his future but I think his raw talent is intriguing AF.
  8. It's a 12 team league. I typically don't highlight players that aren't noteworthy I guess lol. My roster is also quite good.
  9. To be honest with you that kind of surprises me. I guess the difference being hes getting to those pitches that are outside and still hitting them hard when players are typically getting feeble contact on those pitches.
  10. He also isn't actually chasing everything. Hes just aggressive swinging at strikes in the strike zone. Hes not letting counts get deep so he rarely see's 4 pitches let alone 4 balls. He will definitely need to learn to take his walks when hes getting nothing to hit. But his approach doesn't seem that bad. Hes laid off pitches I have seen Pillar and Hernandez swing at regularly.
  11. I don't think they will DH Vlad everyday. Actually I know they won't. If Donaldson is infact back next year and I'm not sure that will be the case. They will probably rotate Donaldson, Vlad, and Smoak around 1B, 3B, and DH. Or maybe Donaldson accepts the QO and they trade him anyway. And we can't rule out Smoak getting moved out. I think this roster will be very different come opening day next year. So many things are unknown at this point.
  12. I wish he did. I needed that homerun in fantasy
  13. 12 year deal at age 20. Sign him through his age 32 season. Get it done Shatkins.
  14. Tell that to Javy Baez.
  15. Its true that he never runs hard to first on ground balls. And I thought there was more than one situation where he could have reached first base and didn't due to lack of hustle. But hes also just really slow. So when you combine being really slow with lack of hustle its a nightmare combination on the bases.
  16. I am fully expecting Vlad to be on this roster and playing everyday September 1st. I would be shocked if it didn't happen. I hope I'm wrong but that's what I'm expecting.
  17. He really should just shave his head at this point.
  18. His numbers are in complete free fall and his advanced numbers are awful. I would take a lottery ticket for him. I can see them keeping him for the 5.5 million option and trying to trade him next year before they have to make a decision on the 8.5 one. But I would rather they just move him now. We just have way to many players for 2 spots. We can only pray that we can trade some of this glut for pitching.
  19. LGJ has already out homered him 7-6 this season in less than half the at-bats!
  20. I’m assuming Oliver Drake won’t be on the roster tonight anyway after getting shelled and we will need a fresh arm to get through this bullpen day.
  21. I do as well but Bo has had an up and down season. Seems they we have been waiting forever for him to put together a sustained hot streak. He hasn’t really warranted the promotion.
  22. They aren’t seriously considering Travis Shaw at 2B are they?
  23. I would be shocked if Tulo played another game for the Jays. They are probably just going to eat the remainder of his deal. And honestly the jury is out on wether he will healthy for next spring training. His career might be over for all we know. It would be nice if you could collect some kind of injury insurance if players just can’t play anymore. But the Mets have been paying David Wright a lot to not play Baseball for 4 or 5 years.
  24. LGJ is just so fun to watch holy s***. That’s an insane 10 game strech.
  25. Hes on the active roster and on the bench...
