    Tulo only usefulness for the remainder of his deal might be mentoring Bo Bichette. They already have a relationship and that might be a positive thing in Spring Training and whatever role Tulo plays on this team next year.

    It honestly makes sense. A guy like Granderson could be important to make sure the young guys don't quit and things don't go off the tracks in the club house. Stroman already had a meltdown. Clearly there is something going on with Teoscar Hernandez. We have no idea what kind of potential mess we just ventured in with Ken Giles. It will be an interesting last couple of months. I just hope we don't see Vlady until next year.

    Control issues? His advanced numbers would suggest that's not been the case. Hell his basic bitch stats say that as well. He walked 3 batters in 30 innings this year. I have seen Pitchers walk 3 batters in 1 inning for this team this year.

    Pompey should get one more extended look before hes out of options next year. McKinney deserves a look. I think hes someone they flip to another organization and don’t view him long term he just had prospect capital in the Yankees system. We also know what Smith Jr. is. Hes only here because Alford has been a disaster.

    Perhaps Grandy’s Jays Care commitments are more important than the nothing prospect the Yankees offered. Both Grandy and Clippard will be dealt in August not even worried about it.

    I wonder if one of the teams that ultimately strikes out for Archer if they will throw a last second hail mary for Marcus Stroman. Probably wishful thinking but would be a lot of fun.

    I mean is this really a prediction if they are only team linked to him. His hamstring injury is a lot scarier than the Rays are making it sound. The bullpen session he caught and felt good is a really cute story. Rays are desperately trying to move him for something interesting at this point.

    If the Indians offered something really interesting you have to listen but you get the sense they are in more of the rental market and aren't interested in moving legit prospects.
