I mean atleast we have an actual good reason to not start his clock now. Obviously injuries f***ing suck and you hope this doesn’t linger.
Vlad has very thick body type. He’s certainly not obese or as fat as everyone says he is. Like he moves well for his size. Hes not grossly out of shape. Working out with someone like Donaldson who transformed his body would be tremendous for him. Vlad needs to build muscle to burn body fat. Just slimming down isn’t the answer for him. Diet during the season would dramatically help any player. That’s why I’m suprised organizations don’t spend on that. I think every minor league team should have a personal chef and nutritionist on the staff. I think we may see that eventually. The way you fuel and prepare your body is huge. I think would get a great return on that investment in the long run.
