    I mean it just makes sense. Brewers sent down Freddy Peralta and already announced he will be up to start as soon hes eligible again.

    Game 2: Notes: Ryan Borucki threw seven strong innings of one-run baseball against the Yankees on Sunday, but picked up a no decision. The only run Borucki allowed was on an RBI ground out off the bat of Miguel Andujar in the first inning. He didn’t allow anyone to cross the plate over the next six innings, and he walked two and struck out five. Borucki has been exceptional since his call-up, and he’s allowed no more than two runs and gone six-or-more innings in all three of his starts.

    They are starting Sam Gaviglio on 2 days rest against the best team in Baseball. That poor bastard.

    Unless you can actually shed like 50% of the contract I would rather they hang onto Martin. Way more useful to mentor Jansen as a back up than to pay him to play for another team. Jansen should get the starting job out of Spring. Jansen should probably be catching everyday by September.

    Tracy McGrady also said he regrets that decision and should have stayed with the Raptors and played along side Vince and tried to do something special.

    The 3-2 slider to Bradley was awful call. Bradley is the one who should have got all those fastballs not Betts.

    Yea I edited my post. The Box score initially listed them as 5 earned runs and showed his era over 4.70

    All 5 are earned runs as well apparently. Happ ERA now over 4.70 EDIT: The box score got correctly. They are all unearned thank god.

    LGJ looks really smooth at SS but I would like to see get some starts in CF just so we can start enhancing his versatility and start turning him into a Super Utility player. He looks like he could really cover some ground and has a cannon.

    The only first they will move is this years. If the other young guy is Poeltl or Delon I do that trade. I don't want to see them part with both OG and Siakam. I think Siakam will be a very good defensive player and if he finds that corner three consistently will be a very good rotation player for a long time.

    I still think we can have a nice deadline. Of course Happ will be moved. We have 4 relievers to sell. Axford, Clippard, Loup, and Oh. Teams will likely be interested in Granderson as a 4th OF or a platoon bat. And Estrada depending on his health will be likely be moved as well. Not going to get any big name prospects but we can get a handful of lottery tickets for guys that have no future with the team. I will certainly take that.

    It will likely be a combination of Poeltl, OG, and Delon for Leonard. We have a trade exception that expires tomorrow. But more would be done to make the money work.

    Game One: Notes: Steve Pearce is hitting .357/.424/.964 with five (5) home runs and 12 RBI against J.A. Happ in his career, and owns a .991 OPS against left-handed pitching this season.

    What does QC mean? Do you mean Qualifying Offer? I don't believe Happ has been offered one. He was traded at the deadline last time he was due to be a free agent. So I believe we could.
