He should have struck out but that was a great AB. Hopefully that can get Drury going.

From everything we know hes a sprinter level runner but doesn’t always automatically translate on a Baseball field. Base stealing and Outfield reads require instincts. He also doesn’t get on 1B a lot. Just gotta find the best ways to use his speed. Montoyo has sucked using him so far.

It was only a matter of time before Angel Hernandez royally f***ed one of our hitters. And he f***ed Vlad over. Should have got a 3-0 swing.

I think this the first time this season the Blue Jays executed perfect sequence of events to set up a big inning. Hopefully they can do some big damage.

I prefer the 14-16 pitch strike out the side innings but yes I like swing and miss. Blue Jays don’t have anywhere close to enough of it.

My worst fear with Vlad. He’s mediocre for us for 6 years where he struggles immensely at times but is also to good to to give up on. He ends up figuring it out at age 27 on a bargain dal with Oakland. And after he has monster season or 2 with Oakland he signs a big deal with Boston and destroys the AL East for the next 5-6 years. I have already had this bad dream.

Espinal better turn into something because it still annoys me how much Steve Pearce helped the Red Sox. Similar to how I feel about Happ to the Yankees we got 2 dog s*** players from them when they seem to be able to find position players that can hit out of nowhere. Everyone they call up from their secondary sight seems to muder baseballs.

He’s predictable for one. Throw another fastball. Everyone watching knew a breaking ball was coming after the high fastball. That’s on Jansen as well tho.

His change up misses high every time he throws it lol. Its a useless pitch for him.

Is it possible Nate isn’t fully healthy because what we have seen and what the scouting reports have said are completely different things. He’s clearly not ready but I just can’tt believe they can be that wrong. Could be completely mechanical.

Pretty sure you’re not a doctor. I’m just going off the history of the injury. If hes back in 2 weeks which he absolutely wont be but if he is he better be 100 percent. He should not be in the lineup until there is zero compromise in his game. That won’t happen in 2 weeks. He will be out a month.

That’s consistent with his first test. 4-6 week injury maybe slightly longer. Blue Jays should be extremely cautious with him. No point rushing him back for a fake playoff run.

Easy chief I didn’t go that far. Hes 21. Hes just not that good right now. He hits Baseball’s hard just in the wrong direction.

Biggio is a beast. His numbers could be so much better as well. Hes got absolutely f***ed on so many hard hit balls and has drawn a number of walks but got royally screwed over by umpires.
