    He calls his own games and doesn’t throw bullpens. He also does his own “scouting”. All these things should probably change as he might go from the Ace to 5th Starter next season.

    Ryu certainly doesn’t get another look at the top of lineup. If he could get us into the 5th tied I would be thrilled. Don’t even think he should have started.

    This is the coldest “outdoor” Baseball game in Toronto since Exbition Stadium existed. Apparently they have difficulty closing the roof once it drops below 15C. Covid is making weird things happen lol.

    Its really cold out and the air is fairly heavy and damp. Might not see the ball carry as well with the roof open. The roof is open usually when its hot. If not for Covid it’s probably closed on a night like this.

    Going to be honest I’m shocked they activated Biggio. His AAA numbers were pretty horrendous. And he had a lengthy “rehab” stint.

    I’m fine with swinging at first pitches if its a strike but the pitch Bo just swung at might have hit him if he didn’t swing. But he delivers on the next pitch so no harm done lol

    He got out of it. But in no way should he see the top of the lineup again. But knowing they would probably just use Stripling it’s probably best he stays in: But zero confidence in Ryu so hopefully we can score tonight.

    Yup it was completely negligent. He looked hurt that entire inning and kept trying to pitch through it. The fact that Charlie used him in the first place was f***ed. But to let him pitch as long as he did while injured physically digusted me.

    That should be the last game Joe West ever umpires. He also called a ball down the middle a ball in the 9th like he did in the Jays/Rays series.
