  1. I don't even think Heinemen could get 3 hits in a month. Let alone a game.
  2. Schwarber is going to be hitting a lot in Homeruns in that Series. I am setting the over under at 3.
  3. I mean yes does Hoffman get unlucky yes. But he's also missing his spots consistently thats why he gets hit so hard when they don't swing and miss. He had Alonzo set up for a high fastball and he threw the ball exactly where Alonzo likes to drive it.
  4. Awful pitch by Hoffman. I don't know why Miles needed to be pulled in that situation.
  5. Letting Valenzuela still catch 3 times a week with Kirk DHing more than normal might be a good idea. Especially if Springer isn't going to get going soon.
  6. Yea that would be massively criticized move if they demoted him. He's literally tied for second on the team in Homeruns and has done really well both framing and throwing the ball despite the errors. The only defensive metric he's below average at is blocks and we have to keep in mind he's catching a lot of Pitchers he doesn't have a lot of experience Catching.
  7. At least Blaze Alexander has a job lined up at Global Gym if this Baseball thing doesn't work out for him.
  8. Valenzuela deserves a lot more credit for what he's given us this Season. Imagine if Tyler Heinemen was Catching 5 days a week this entire time Kirk has been out.
  9. So does the 3rd string Catcher coming into the Season lol.
  10. I will take Vlad Jr.
  11. It’s hilarious that fans boo Varsho every AB because they don’t like his walk up song lol.
  12. Adley continues his onslaught of the Blue Jays.
  13. Even he did refuse the assignment. His contract is a sunk cost at this point anyway He's been very bad and they shouldn't justify keeping him because he still owed $12 million. I would rather set $12 million on fire over him being paid $12 million and actively hurt our chances to win. If he had shown any signs of improvement but that would be one thing. But in 8.2 IP he walked 6 only struck out 5 and has given up 2 Homeruns. His advanced metrics don't really paint a pretty picture for the future success either.
  14. Yariel was DFA'd before he can DFA'd again. Nobody is going to claim him. He doesn't have enough service time to declare free agency. Even with all the pitchers on the mend you can't expect everything to go smoothly. Could be more injuries before those guys are activated. They didn't get SWR to not give him every chance to return as a Starter. They just can't do it the easy way but sending him to Buffalo to figure it out. They have to figure it out in Toronto.
  15. Topes Win! The Blue Jays Actually Win A Game! The Blue Jays Actually Win A Game! The Blue Jays Actually Win A Game!
  16. Love it. Was. hoping we would bring him back. Hopefully Pete Walker can fix him.
