  1. I just wish the likes of Max, Verlander, DeGrom we’re on the market when Jays were in the market to overpay for a Starter.
  2. Tyler O’Neal was a flash in a pan. He strikes out a ton, has no plate discipline, and abuses TRT. He will never come within half of his career season in WAR again. We have moved beyond Randal Grichuk 2.0.
  3. Yea don’t get me wrong great player. He could go back into the Outfield as well. I just didn’t see the 11 years coming. He just won’t be the level of player he is not in the final 4-5 years of that contract. Good for him though.
  4. Lets hope Heaney has really figured it out because last time he was in the AL East he was an absolute pumpkin. But those strikeout numbers last season were f***ing outstanding.
  5. 11 years for Turner is pretty crazy. Speed is a big part of his game.
  6. Boucher is great when he shows up. Doesn’t happen often enough. His contract is not outrageous luckily. But more than a role player should make. Espinal is platoon infielder who should be making close to the minimum his entire career and float around the league on multiple teams. I was actually annoyed when he made the All-Star team lol
  7. Sports is a game of stars. Those are the ones who should be paid. And everyone else gets that scraps. Connor McDavid barely making more than Darnell Nurse is example of how poorly market value works in sports currently. It use to be a lot more in control. NBA is by far the worst.
  8. As long as these contracts are only handed out at the high end I’m ok with these insane terms. Mid to lower end rotation guys should still be signed reasonably. Don’t want to see an NBA situation where role players are making 12-15m a year. Which is the equivalent of giving your utility man a huge contract. Would love to have Verlander for a couple of years. But he’s almost 40. Someone will give him that though. And honestly he probably deserves it. He should take his huge payday he’s got his 2 World Series.
  9. He’s not a switch-hitting CF with Power.
  10. They technically have 2 but doesn’t rule out Moreno for them who could play another position. Moreno would be a good starting point.
  11. Yes please. Perfect fit. Jays have what it takes to get this done as well.
  12. DeGrom definitely went to the Rangers for the desired place to live and security of that mega contract. Perhaps Mets would have given him similar money. But you definitely didn’t sign with the Texas Rangers to win. Even with their big splashes they don’t seem like a real threat in their division let alone the rest of the American League. Kind of disappointing to be honest.
  13. Chris Martin would be such a nice pickup for the Jays. Great deal for the Red Sox
  14. Boring. Brewers are never doing anything.
  15. Buck is fine in the colour role. Dan and Buck or Dan with Pat was fine. I guess will see who thet replace him with. Sidal kinda tries to hard to get his point across. Rarely flows. Fine tor short segments.
  16. Can’t say I saw this coming. Not really a huge fan of Sidal so if that means more him kinda sucks. He’s fine on the pannel with the ginger. But 3 hours of him is not ideal.
  17. With some of the other quality options out there Nootbar would be low on my priority list especially if his cost is up due to his control. Now if he was packaged with Hellz Bellz for Kirk I’m more in.
  18. I definitely don’t mind this. Definitely a respectable name to put on the bench.
  19. Interesting that Carlos Santana continues to stick around. His greatest strength was getting on base and he doesn’t even do that anymore. He still walks but doesn’t hit a lick lol. It’s actually incredible he could walk as much as he does and still post a low on base the last 2 seasons lol.
  20. Things can actually start picking up. Baseball off-season is so drawn out. Its not like the NBA and NHL where everyone basically signs the day free agency starts.
  21. Getting called an NPC is like the coldest insult ever. I'm f***ing dying laughing lol.
  22. Bellinger is the clear choice for me. Gallo for a potential platoon scenario Would not be happy if they signed Kiermaier.
  23. Kiermaier has a zero percent chance to hit though. Atleast the other 2 have upside with the bat and could hit 40 homeruns if everything clicks right.
  24. Oh no doubt about that. Brown is an Ivy League school and they reject more than 90% of people who apply there. You have to have to have insane credentials to get in.
  25. That’s disappointing. I just assumed she was a stand out female athlete that embarrassed her competition. That’s the only scenario where this makes sense. Weird that a school like Brown which is stingy on Acceptance unless you’re rich would try this.
