  1. Assuming he’s healthy and his performance doesn’t fall off a cliff. He at the bare minimum is on this club as a power reliever in August. He could also be in the rotation as early as June. He’s not like most young power arms. He doesn’t struggle with command. Atleast he hasn’t so far. Recent memory suggests the Jays won’t hesitate to push him if he continues to dominate and that’s all hes done thus far. The hype and excitement is real.
  2. Ryu making meaningful starts for the Blue Jays this season seems highly unlikely. But he also has almost no value in the bullpen and is very routine oriented so it would only make sense if he was used in planned long relief situations. That 5th Starter spot is very much up for grabs. But I am hoping our rotation is mostly sorted out by the time Ryu is healthy. Ricky T will be on this club this season will just be interesting in what role that will be.
  3. Reed Johnson should never be confused. Joe Inglett had a pretty decent utility season for us. He would never strike out and had great at-bats. He hit lead off a little bit that season as well. I want to say 2008? Maybe 2009.
  4. Hyping up a 16 year old is always a dangerous game. But when you paid 4.1m for a kid out of the Dominican you better feel strong about his future.
  5. Honestly I’m down. Especially considering he plans to enter the hall as a Blue Jay. Edwin as well.
  6. Is Jose Bautista not on the Level of Excellence yet. I swear that’s long overdue if not. He had an insane run for us.
  7. The Roy Halladay decision still pisses me off. His wife royally f***ed that up. It was clear where his heart was.
  8. Keep talking like that prepare to scrap in the Teddy’s parking lot at midnight.
  9. Yup and would have been more fitting. Spanky posts a picture that doesn’t show the jersey number in a jersey number thread

  11. You never say no to cocaine.
  12. I know he was dog s*** last year but I would take a flyer on Matt Barnes if he comes for nothing. He’s put up elite strikeout numbers in the past. Still only 32.
  13. Didn’t he become some kind of drug lord lol. More than that we traded Michael Young for him. Which could easily be considered one of the worst if not the worst trade in franchise history.
  14. I feel Tampa touts the guys they want to get rid of most and let teams poach those guys keeping who they actually want around.

  16. No matter where we go. He will always find us.
  17. No wonder why he covers so much ground. He’s been 2 people this whole time.
  18. I will give it a shot.
