I meant do they want to take his entire rehab stint to build him up as a Starter. He’s absolutely getting added but they don’t seem to be in any rush to get him on the roster.

Thank an absolutely brutal strech. With no off-days. I just don’t know how they go through that without a long man. The decision with Mitch White needs to be made soon. I would imagine White would take Jackson’s spot. And then they have to make a decision on Cimber at some point as well.

Tons of them on Twitter but each level has beat writers or people who cover the team. Pat Malacaro would be the on for Buffalo who is also the voice of the team on the radio. I listen to most Bisons game. Well until they get out of hand. They have been very bad this Season.

This myth that guys can no longer be athletic with added muscle really needs to end lol. If you’re putting on the muscle correctly it wouldn’t have any negative impact on your coordination. Nobody is putting on 10-15 pounds of lean muscle naturally in less than 6 months anyway. Its why I always scoff at reports of players adding 15-20 pounds of muscle. They may have put on 15-20 pounds and some of that is muscle but its not all. Not even close.

You know plenty of industry scouts see guys handful times a Season. Especially guys like Keith Law who make full reports on what they see and that kid could have just had a bad day. If you want accurate information follow the guys who actually follow those teams everyday.

Considering pitchers in Jays organization don’t strike out anybody you should see how many balls are fielded lol. I didn’t just watch him one game either it was a handful. I’m not even trying to talk s*** about Barger. I just think it’s unrealistic for him to just come up and replace Matt Chapman. That would be a huge step back for the organization. I would love to be wrong but I don’t think he plays 3B for the Jays.

Why would I make that up lol. I haven’t watched him ton obviously. Nobody here has but he also has a track record of errors in the minors. He looked awful whenever he was planted from Third Base. All his throws were off line except for the ones he made on the run. Could be a mental thing. Could be a feel thing. I’m sure it’s difficult to learn multiple new positions in the minors. If the goal is to have him play Third Base he should be playing exclusively Third Base. I never understood why they did that with Bo either. Bo played a ton of Second Base in the minors and yet has not play a single defensive inning at 2B in the majors. He’s not going to play SS. So put him at 3B and let him get his reps. If he needs to transition to 2B or RF later those are easier moves to make at the next level. The Scouting reports posted aren’t even him as a 3B its as a SS lol.

You can almost say the same about Varsho. His numbers 2 weeks ago were horrendous. Only aided by his base running.

The NBA has done something similar for years. And all the special jerseys have either been Drake or Toronto related. Its called “City Connect” so no doubt it will be Toronto themed. They can do those gaudy Canada Day jerseys once a year. I don’t even think they are listed as an alt this Season. I know the players hated them.

Or I was just sleeping lol. I watched a couple of his New Hampshire games. Over the course of a full game he spiked 6 or 7 throws from Third base like actual shin breakers. He somehow only got called for one error. Multiple infield singles on plays that should have been made a by a professional baseball player. His actions and footwork look absolute s***. He was actually substantially better throwing on the run which probably due to his Shortstop background. But this isn’t even about Barger. I like Barger I hope he becomes a good Third Baseman. But if you’re telling me he’s the guy they planning to pencil in at third next year we’re in trouble. Considering he’s playing SS, 3B, and RF in AAA makes me think they are attempting to groom into a super utility player based on where the Jays think they may need him this Season. Bottom line there’s 2 notable openings next off-season 3B and 2B. Both those positions won’t be able to he filled internally. So you very much hope you can resign Chapman. You would hate to take a massive dip at both sides of the ball. You also gotta take advantage of current window to win.

All teams are getting one at some point. Jays just haven’t announced there’s yet.

I actually kinda like the Rangers jersey. But the Braves one is the best. White Sox good as well.

He wasn’t really a throw in the Dbacks wanted him. They wanted veteran they could put into their lineup. Obviously Moreno was the main piece but I’m sure the Jays would have retained Gurriel it they could have.

He should want out. He had tons of teams after him. He choose the Cardinals. I doubt he's cool with just not catching going forward.

He did have quite the glow up. Maybe he will have a Matt Chapman level glow up in April

I keep hearing that argument and it’s never been a good one. There are plenty of times where having a strong arm would benefit a second baseman. Considering he’s been an absolute butcher at SS and 3B his strong arm is irrelevant. He probably should play RF if you’re that in love with his arm. Bottom line Addison Barger is not a replacement for Matt Chapman at 3B on either side of the ball. If Chapman isn’t brought back a trade will need to be made. We can only hope they wouldn’t consider starting Espinal every day.

Hard to imagine people in England caring about Canada’s team. Our relationship tied to the King and Commonwealth is because our government is to lazy to do the paperwork to sever all ties. Its absolutely silly the Queen has been on our money all these years. And now this King lol. Like I feel no connection to England and my Grandfather on my Dad’s side was born there lol. I would assume the most popular teams in America would sell there. Jays are rarely on National TV.

It’s not uncommon for organizations to keep players on the left side longer than they should in the minors. He will likely make the eventual move to Second Base. Bottom line this team will have holes at both 2B and 3B next off-season.

I wonder if he will ask for a trade soon,
