  1. Can we please use Davis Schneider instead of #5 here.
  2. Dominican is 18. So it doesn't apply here. Canada is 16 for reference. But most countries are 18.
  3. I’m honestly over it lol. But it’s the principle that people are defending the decision to yank starters early. Yes the off-days are coming up but people wonder why we have relievers throwing 3 out of 4 days and are unavailable on nights we need them on a semi regular basis. Most of the time it’s a direct result of pulling Starters early and using back end relievers in meaningless games that all adds up.
  4. 86 pitches is low pitch count to be pulled from a game yes.
  5. And look we ended up using Swanson anyway lmao.
  6. That wasn’t the reason to keep him in the game. That would just be a benefit of staying in the game. He should have stayed in the game because of his low pitch count, his performance on the mound, and the scoreboard. Period.
  7. The way he was throwing I felt very good about him completing 6. If he needed some help he needed some help.
  8. They said he didn’t have any restrictions. He doesn’t need to be eased on. Would be a good time to throw 100 pitches today. And QS are not an arbitrary start. 6 innings of 3 runs or less is a very good goal each start. What a stupid take.
  9. What’s wrong with giving your Starter a chance to complete his outing and put up a quality start.
  10. It’s really frustrating. And everyone using the off days as an excuse is just pitiful. All it takes is your starter to be knocked out of the game early Tuesday to have a taxed pen again. Let your Starters eat their innings. Ryu was grooving and perfect time to give him an extended outing.
  11. This would have been a good spot to get Davis Scheneider an at-bat
  12. Sounds like even more reason to push the Starter further.
  13. He's probably just happy to be on the mound again to be honest. Doesn't make it a good decision.
  14. Ofcourse he f***ing pulls Ryu at 86 pitches. They are up 8-2 Jesus f***ing Christ.
  15. Ryu at 86 pitches. He should throw another inning. But you know John Schneider is licking his lips at the idea of using 4 relievers today.
  16. Taillon has been terrible this Season after a couple solid years with the Yankees. He got his 4-year deal and let himself go lol
  17. When I saw 14 my jaw dropped. Like that's f***ed...
  18. Springer is an adventure out there.
  19. Kid rakes. Off to great start in his professional career.
  20. f*** I thought Biggio juiced that for a second. That would have been sick. Still a great inning
  21. Man we seem to always get f***ed on those plays.
  22. Maybe Springer needs glasses full time. He can't see clear strikes over the plate and he loses the ball in the sun on a daily occurrence.
  23. I'm mad I didn't swing at that Mr. Umpire! You should have called it a ball! Dog s*** team.
