  1. Bad decisions like pulling Berrios at 47 pitches made headlines around the league. You better believe these things come up in future negotiations. Players don't want to hear what things they do bad or why it makes sense to be pulled over or pinch hit for in certain situations. There is clearly a fracture of trust between the players and coaching staff over that decision. And might be an even larger one between the coaches and management. Yet all the cogs making the decisions remain in place. It doesn't exactly look like things could get better especially standing on the outside.
  2. Dbag sure. But Liberal Toronto getting a victory is not something we should be happy about. I wish Anthony Bass was only cut for Baseball reasons. But anyone with a brain knows that’s not true.
  3. “Body of work is undeniable” 0-6 in the Playoffs.

5 minute overtimes until somebody wins. There’s so many times we get an action packed 3v3 OT with end to end chances and you wish they just did another period.
  5. Mookie Betts is overrated. .710 career OPS in the playoffs. And no his Mickey Mouse ring doesn't count. 2018 one does. But still he was shut down in the playoffs again. Easy work for Diamondbacks pitching.

They need to abolish the shootout. NHL should go to the NBA format for Overtime. Shits fun.
  7. I really think people are overreacting to Richards struggles. He clearly wasn't the same game after he was activated. I'm not convinced he was fully healthy. He was so good a vast majority of the Season. And he still had an incredible season despite his inflated ERA by seasons end. He's definitely a guy I want in the mix again next season.
  8. Goalie masks are fugly.
  9. Watching the Dbacks run makes me so sad.
  10. The good news is the Leafs season starts tonight so casual fans should lose interest in this topic soon
  11. Shapiro is apparently addressing the media.
  12. Jays wouldn’t have got swept in a 5 game series. I still think it’s dumb the DS is only 5 games. All those good teams sit for a week to have the Season over that quickly. It’s a bit rough.
  13. Thursday can’t come soon enough. Shapiro needs to fire both and start fresh.
  14. Not debatable. They still have s***** pitching though. They have the assets to trade for some just haven’t yet. They also haven’t spent any money yet either will be interesting to see if they do. They are set up quite well
  15. Orioles rotation sucking in the playoffs was the most predictable thing ever.
  16. Is Varsho easy to cheer for because he’s 5’7 and looks like he’s from Lindsay, Ontario? I don’t want feel good stories. I want attractive alpha dogs. Picking him over Kiermaier is like choosing Rudy over the hottest guy at school.
  17. Moreno has been nothing short of dynamic in this post season so far. Not only does he come up with big clutch hits he completely eliminates the other teams running game. He’s going to be a good player in this league for a long time. I still can’t believe the Jays traded him. Varsho’s plate struggles have just compounded the issue. If we really wanted a Defensive Outfielder with control I really don’t think they needed to part with the organization #1 prospect. Plus Jansen can’t stay healthy and Kirk is a disaster.
  18. It’s not the worst but it’s up there for sure.
  19. I can't believe both Akins and John are both returning. This is a massive off-season for them.
  20. I would be fine with Votto being a pinch hitter off the bench and starting occasionally but he would not be a big part of the plan. He looks like he can be serviceable for cheap. Not a bad veteran hitter to have on your bench. Plus he's one of the best Canadian Baseball players to ever play so it would be cool to see him finish his career here. It's a logical fit.
  21. Nobody reads The Toronto Sun.
  22. He's got a lot to f***ing answer for. That's for sure. Hopefully the media isn't pussies like usual and actually grills him.
  23. I agree with all of these except for Espinal. Cut bait. He can back on a minor league deal if he wants.
  24. Your 0-6 in the playoffs I think someone has to get fired. He already fired Montoyo he can fire Schneider but if he's just going to employee another puppet does it really matter? It kinda has to be Atkins.
  25. I don't think you can fix low IQ. And his antics are just growing old. Apparently the Jays have brought in a variety of different veterans to try to talk to him and he continues to just do his own thing. Don't see a commitment to the body. Obviously the value in a return has to be there. I just don't think he is that guy. That we apparently think he should be.
