    Can’t believe there is a conversation of Straw playing over Springer in CF. I mean I enjoyed his 3 hit game as well but let’s relax.

    Always get nervous for Friday games because I feel it’s going to be an Apple TV game. But I think were safe today.

    Even talking to the casual fan about Vlad's contract expectations they view the whole scenario differently now as well lol. I would gladly keep him at what he deserves to make. But if he wants to get paid like a generational player he can go make that money elsewhere. I don't know who does it but please don't let it be us.

    I mean in fairness we could have easily had both in the picture. Really don't think Lovelady and Barnes needed to make this team. But I feel Yarbrough's ability's to throw 3 or 4 innings and keep us in games was extremely valuable to have. He's nothing special but he has consistently but pretty good in his roll. He seems like a guy you should destroy but never do.

    Wasting available players isn’t typically something you want to do when you’re already leading. You probably see Roden or Wager in that spot if the game was tied or the Jays were losing.

    He’s pitched 4 times in the 7 games so far. And he’s pitched back to back days twice already. Off-Day couldn’t have came at a better time.

    If Katel Marte is only worth 116m over 6 years. Vlad isn’t making 500 million.

    Have you seen Davis Scheneider try to hit recently? And what Orgfiller said. He was being replaced defensively anyway.

    Good for Easton Lucas. This came out of absolute nowhere. Not counting on anything like this moving forward but you take it for now.

    I don’t think he had a choice not to go home. Straw was basically standing on Second. They were either going to have an out on the bases or at home. And he was safe at home just got screwed.

    The replay system is absolutely useless.

    Now that he’s on a top 100 prospect list. Do we get a first round draft pick if he wins ROY?

    He’s always been a pitch over stuff guy. It never made sense but projections have never liked him and he just always out performs them. The real question you have to ask yourself is would you rather have him make this spot start or Easton Lucas. It really does just come down to that.

    Hate to be that guy but makes you wonder what really happened with Yarbrough because we are already here. Especially considering apparently they aren’t going to use Y-Rod in Long Relief.

    The Kawartha Lakess are in a state of emergency due to the ice storms. Those people have been without power for 5 days. Those cream puffs in Toronto have it easy.

    Glad we won the first 2 games because the Gore will be brought today. Especially with that less than ideal pitching match up. I would like to think they could do better than Easton Lucas at this point of the Season but here we are.

    If you think about it every win counts the same regardless if its April or September.

    5 games but 3 Homeruns already is crazy. .638 OPS over 583 AB’s last Season. Feel people had the right to be skeptical. Has been noticeably hitting the ball harder since Spring. Let’s hope it continues.
