    Has Bednar always been this big? I don’t remember him being that fat. But I don’t tune into many Pirates games in recent years for obvious reasons

    Damn I was looking forward to hearing Hells Bells at the Rogers Centre. Trade Deadline less than 24 hours away but quickly running out of a dance partners.

    As much as it would be nice adding a Starter and another Bullpen piece. Can't be forgetting about a bat. Orioles gave us a firm reminder how much slugging helps.

    Yea I couldn't disagree anymore. Laureano is having a good Season. His best in awhile. But he absolutely disappears offensively at times. Suarez is a consistent power bat in the Jays lineup which they very much need. Plus once Varsho is back only so many at-bats in that Lineup.

    How much longer does Chad Green have to suck before they realize hes not good anymore., DFAing him would improve this roster over night.

    Another crazy stat is the Blue Jays are 39-29 vs teams above .500 so this no fluke. For reference the Yankees are 3 games under .500 against winning teams.

    Tigers have lost 12 of their last 13 games and still have a 7.5 game division lead. Literally insane how bad that division is. It has to make it hard for the Twins, Indians, and Royals to sell knowing how bad the Tigers actually are.

    If Cease had more control I would understand. Think a prospect package makes a lot more sense.

    I have seen multiple people suggest trading him in a couple different threads in the last week. Also I thought we were passed that max? Are we really going to rehash something from multiple years ago. When I have already admitted I was wrong. Like what are we gaining here?

    He's the best pitcher in Baseball. But he doesn't have to be today.

    And that's what you do with pitchers that can't miss bats. You punish them knowing they can't strike you out.

    What are the Rockies even doing at this point? Are they existing just for the sake of existing? That franchise seems to have zero direction and is basically serving as a farm team for the rest of Baseball although they struggle to produce good players. They randomly signed Kris Bryant to a massive deal that has been a disaster. Like what is the gameplan. I don't understand. Atleast with the Pirates we just know that they have a cheap owner.

    Read what you wrote lol. What you suggested is he would disrupt team chemistry lol Varsho can never get a hit again. His Defense in CF is invaluable. I don't care if he leads the league in strikeouts if he runs into 20-25 homeruns a year with that Defense. Plus anything Varsho does will automatically be an upgrade over anything Straw provides. Will put Barger more than 3B and Leo Jimenez gets zero at-bats.

    I never mentioned anything about rushing him. Just answering the stupid comment that the Jays are better without him because he "strikes out".

    The faster Varsho's power is back in this lineup the better.

    Severino doesn't miss bats at all anymore. Even if the A's ate money. No thank you.
