    Some of that along with Sanchez and Greene/Reid-Foley should be used to try and net Carrasco or Kluber. Both should cost around the same with Carrasco still unproven for more than 2 years and 29 years old in 2016, while Kluber is coming off a bit of a down year conventionally.

    I'm sure I could live with it but Osuna has a ceiling similar to Carrasco as a starter, so I'd like to actually see how he actually does next year as one first. Pompey could become an excellent top of the order bat next season with his new high OBP approach and low k-rate. Vlad Jr is far off but he may have the best ceiling of all. If we part with one, I'd rather it be Pompey, while keeping Alford.

    I have a feeling he'll age like Papi or Beltre, which would be excellent.

    If AA managed to acquire Kluber without giving up Pompey, Osuna, or Vlad Jr, I'd change my username to AA's Shrine. The crazy thing is that I wouldn't be surprised if he got one of Kluber or Carrasco this off-season with his ninja capabilities.

    It's so frustrating watching this offense get baffled by guys like this.

    We better not see Hawkins in this game, he gets lit up with hits against poor teams, against KC he will implode for 5+ runs an inning. Keep in Hendriks until he can no longer locate.

    Hawkins will retire but why would you want to keep him?

    We can only hope. That said, once Gibby puts in Hawkins or Loup we're screwed unless we score like 8 runs.

    How would we be in trouble? Hendriks was 7th I FIP this season out of all relievers in the MLB. Cecil was 12th and Lowe was in the top 30 I believe. They would fit the roles I listed easily.

    This. Re-sign Lowe and use him and Cecil as 8th inning guys and Hendriks as the Closer. Osuna to starting rotation, and Sanchez to trade market.

    This. It seems if you're an average pitcher, you're in luck when you face the Jays' offense. Don't worry you'll strike us out with 87mph meatballs, no need to actually try and pitch, just throw them in the zone and we'll miss like we're the Astros.
