    That 1987 one was bad. I was 13 and I couldn't believe what was happening. A lot of people still believe that was the best Blue Jays team ever (collapse notwithstanding).

    I'm really curious what this team will look like headin into 2017. Shatkins has/have had a year now basically to see this team and figure out what they like, and don't like. As for this collapse? Meh...I'm a Toronto boy...I expect this sort of thing...it's coded in my DNA.

    I hope the Jays meet the Rangers in the playoffs again this year. If I'm Bautista and I'm able to lead off a game with a homer, I'd not only do another bat flip...I'd come around the bases, dig up home plate...and flip that too.

    Yes. I'm very pleased with the season that Tellez had. Guarded optimism. Would be nicer if he had more to bring to the table that just a bat...but that bat sure does look like it could be something promising.
