    I'm still hoping Bautista turns it around so we decline the option, qualify him, and have someone else sign him...and get that 1st rounder that I wanted for him this off-season.

    AA may have brought most of the guys in but Shapiro decided they were good enough to keep, even when the writing was on the wall last season and you could see them getting older, and not better.

    So you have to go back 66 years. I think anyone who thought this team was a contender now knows that this season is a write-off. And they should also realize that next year they'll​ just be one year older​ (and not better).

    I do. They don't. I listen on anybody. There are no untouchables. Some they may have to pay through the nose though. You build around anyone who develops and shows themselves as potential pieces. Don't draft for need. Add talent wherever you can. We need talent everywhere.
