Didn't the last sentence talk about last season ('better but still apprehensive')? I'm not saying I agree with the report...I don't watch him regularly so how would I know...but I just find it funny how some people get angry boners if everyone isn't fellating all things Blue Jays in unison.

Just motivation for Rowdy. Bottom line is this...there may very well be truth to what people are saying about him struggling with better stuff. Just cause you don't want it to be true, doesn't mean it isn't. It's up to Rowdy to prove whether the bat is for real or can only handle mistakes.

The stretch run is beginning. The men will be separated from the boys. And that's not a knock on the Leafs...just that they are boys. This is when sheer will and grit come out...that's something that comes with age and experience. They'll get there.

He did a fine job developing the farm. His performance as GM, as it pertains to the ML team, did leave something to be desired. I'm not saying he was horrible, but he certainly wasn't that good either.
