Can't really blame them. While everyone else is participating in the Ohtani circle jerk, they're improving elsewhere. If Ohtani doesn't sign in Toronto, and Yankees get the Soto deal done before Shohei's decision, who do they turn their attention to?

As cynical as I am that Ohtani actually signs here, man, this had been an exciting last several days. I'm really resisting letting myself believe this could happen. I still have scars from the Darvish fiasco. But man, this is exciting.
