    I'll start by saying 1/$8M is fine for what Ray could potentially give you. The only thing I would say is, do we know what our payroll is going to be for next season? If we still have a tight payroll to work with, how many Roark's and Ray's can we afford to have, who may end up being unusable? As long as we have enough flexibility that we can spend our way out of some of these potential mistakes come the deadline, I'm good with the moderate risk, high reward game.

    The reports I've seen say 12. Maybe 32 since Camp #2 started, and 12 of that since the end of the season? Either way....he can't stop now. His ass will always be big but that fat gut has to go.

    So...Vladdy says he was at 280 this past season. Does that mean he's at 268 now? I'm curious what he started Spring Training at. If they say 250 then he's a lost cause with getting in shape and they're just going with the standard '250 is the max we'll report Vladdy at.' I hope to hell he comes in below 250...and that's not really asking for a lot.

    How do these guys develop if they're just playing shinny? I'm guessing you see players go play in other leagues this season...especially draft eligible ones that need to show what they can do. This is the biggest season of their lives professionally speaking.

    I don't think he was either. So if he can't even crack that 60, how close can he really even be....or how much of a future do they really see in him.

    Leafs retained no salary and got a potential useful bottom 6 energy forward. I'm fine with that. Johnsson's spot can be pretty easily replaced.
