  1. If we don't add some bats there will be nothing to lock down.
  2. They would be plan G and W
  3. Must be nice being a Dodgers fan
  4. If it's that bad why even try this season. Fire sale and rebuild if it's so hopeless. Why waste time putting makeup on a pig?

Most people: "They won!!" jaysblue: "They didn't win the way I wanted them to win. It doesn't count." Most people: "You're an idiot." Everyone agrees.
  6. Loopholes are there to be found. If the Dodgers are smart enough to figure out a way to manipulate the system in their favor then congrats to them. Life isn't fair. I always wish my teams come up with ways to give them a competitive advantage. If they don't, someone else will anyway.
  7. I kinda hope so too...but for the purpose of really putting the exclamation point to Rogers and Jays management that being 'right there' is nice from a PR perspective, but if you want to be serious (and this doesn't just pertain to Ohtani alone) sometimes you have to come off the top rope with the flying elbow and just take what you want. If it means overpaying cause you know he's the one you really want and need, then do it. Oh well...let's see what kind of underwhelming moves are in our future for the remainder of this off-season.
  8. We don't really know how close we were. Jays could've been well been complete pawns in this entire process. It's happened before, it'll happen again.
  9. This is what I always thought and let myself believe otherwise like a f***ing mook.
  10. They would've been better off not even getting involved with Ohtani at all. Shattered dreams hurt way more than subdued expectations. The Management team gets no points from me on not being able to close again...and that's me being positive. Cause if you look at the other option (Rogers offered just as much or more than the Dodgers) then it's either the team or the city that Ohtani rejected. If it's the team, then the management group is completely to blame and deserve being chastised. If it's the city, then where does that leave us? An undesirable city to play in. Can't really do much about that other than come to terms with the face that none of the biggest talents want to sign here. That's a depressing thought.
  11. No Ohtani. No Soto. I doubt Bellinger signs here. Grovelling back to Chapman and another Varsho kinda deal loading...
  12. So the last 48 hours explains why I am the way I am. I should've just gone with my initial prediction. Getting sucked into the hype just isn't worth it in this town.
  13. Brilliant move. Dave Roberts plan to make up for his error
  14. LOL. I'm gonna leave to go to the Christmas Party now. f*** this....
  15. She said keep the 5. She feels bad she couldn't find your dick.
  16. Well, if you remember AAs MO. "If you hear about us being interested in someone, that means we're not". Atlanta had been pretty damn quiet in all this.
  17. I'll take any bit of potentially good news, ******** or otherwise. Anyone know of any hookers that sucked off one of the guys that works in concessions at the Rogers Centre and may have heard something while draining his vein at a urinal? I'm all ears.
  18. Hi guys. Look at the cool friend that I have that is abso-f***ing-useless right now.
  19. But will never say that you have a massive cock. I'm here to tell you that we do.
  20. I don't know about that. Canadians tend to not bother celebs on the street too much. I think he'd be able to avoid a lot of public interaction here
